They let you order products which are not in stock and leave you waiting weeks

I have been an avid fan of stylevana for years, making large purchases of products and even wrote two 5 star reviews but never again. I placed an order on June 19th and it still has not been dispatched. I made sure when placing my order that ALL ITEMS were in stock. After a week waiting, I emailed to ask what the issue was, I received a response that they are waiting on new stock and as soon as it is received, they will dispatch my order. July 7th and still nothing. You have taken my money knowing full well, items were not available. Readings the 1000s of negative reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. Never again will I shop here. You have lost a long time customer.

Delivery is awful

Delivery is awful! I ordered exactly a week ago and they still haven't dispatched my order. Considering that you are paying nearly 6 euros delivery charge, you would expect it to arrive quicker. Don't order if you need something in a hurry. I wouldn't order anything again from here.

Bins are not being collected on a weekly basis

Zero stars! Bin wasn't collected for over a month during Christmas. Both bins full to the brim and drawing animals. Last pick up was December 18th and nothing until January 22nd. Collection due this morning and again a no show. Am fed up with this company.

I have spent a lot of time over the…

I have spent a lot of time over the last four weeks doing surveys. I have been honest and consistent and take time reading and answering the questions. I tried to log in this morning and to no avail. I have over 76,000 points and waiting on 20,000 more.

After reading all the reviews I am now certain that I have been blocked from my account and won't be able to redeem my points.

Until this is resolved, I am giving a bad review.

Last time using this service

Last time using this service. I usually book well in advance. Place order 2 - 3 hours in advance for a set time but it NEVER turns up. Waiting like an idiot for hours after specified time. It's like Russian roulette. Status always shows it's being delivered but this is not true. Never again

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought travel insurance as an add on Premium Protection via Expedia for a trip in August. Unfortunately, on landing at the destination airport, I received the worst news, one of my parents had suddenly passed away. I had to scramble to find flights to get home. I submitted my claim on August 16th, provided all possible documents, receipts and death certificate. I sent follow up emails and phone calls, nobody had a clue about my submitted claim. I am now dealing with a company called Sedgwich who after 9 weeks they have come back to ask for documentation that I already provided. I feel they will give you the run around and that you will give up out of frustration. I will keep going until this is settled.

Really helpful airline

Really helpful airline, responded and refunded in less than 24 hours. I unfortunately had to cancel a flight due to my mum suddenly passing away. Have flown a few times and never any issues. A few delays but not the Airlines fault.

Munich - Dublin - Shocking experience - accused of being a liar

Booked a flight from Munich to Dublin for June 18th. Decided later on to pay extra to take my bag on board as I needed to get through the airport quickly to make another connection via bus to Wexford. Checked in online on the 16th, all fine but it I didn't receive my boarding card. I was allocated seat 10f. Tried again on Sunday morning but systems were down. Kept throwing up errors.

I arrived at the airport and my god, everyone else must have had the same issue. A whole plane full, queueing for check in. One desk was taken up with a family for 30 minutes, another check in desk left so we were left with one check in person. I finally reached the desk after an hour waiting in line. I politely asked, oh, was there an issue with the online check-in. I was met with the rudest person who snapped back at me that she didn't know. Ok sorry. This is where is got worse.

She asked how many bags had I. I showed her my cabin bag and laptop bag. Said I am bringing them on the plane as I paid extra. In the rudest tone ever she responded that there was no record of this and if i wanted to get on the flight I was to put them in hold. I was more or less called a liar. Even after showing the receipt, it wasn't good enough. I went into my banking app and showed the money had been taken out. Still refusing to believe me. Again I was ordered to put them in hold, I explained again that I paid additionally to get through the airport as I need to make a connection. She scoffed, what connection, you are only flying to Dublin. I explained my mum was in hospital and I had to take a bus and needed to get make connection as soon as possible.

She threw the passport back at me and said only for my mum is in hospital that I am allowed to take my bags on board. I remained patient throughout but they way i was a treated and made out to be a liar and a cheat after showing proof of payment. Several people who witnessed the event came up to me afterwards and were appalled at how I was treated.

Is the is how you treat all your customers?

Vital Proteins - Price Increase 28e to 36e

I left a review on the website itself but am sure it will not get published. Apart from recent bad online ordering issues, I was astonished to see the price of the Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides has increased from 28 Euros to just over 36. Absolute madness considering it is still 28 euros in most other stores. Will definitely be buying elsewhere.

Am furious

Am furious! After being charged 70 euros for a couple of seconds in Switzerland, for my next trip I booked an add on for 4.99e for the week i was there. I am now back in Europe, the 1gb is used and I am left without any data. I have emailed several times without a satisfactory response and I am fuming. This company is fine until you have problems, then you can forget about everything. Why does it not revert to my original data plan when I am back in 'Europe'. Seems my data is blocked, this happened twice already and it is impossible to get any help.

FAKE SCAM - Don't order anything from here.... Fake, scam or just totally useless....

Ordered on November 30th, paid by visa debit card. Item still not received. Emailed twice and received a generic response that they were looking into the matter. I asked for a refund. Nothing. I have sent one final email today asking for a refund and if it is not done, I will contact my bank and ask to raise a dispute to get my money back.

Not worth the hassle or stress. Never again.

I ordered this card back in October as I was travelling a lot and using different currencies. From initial application to receiving the card and pin took no time at all. Extremely easy process. No hidden charges or fees for currency exchange. It is a proper credit card unlike what some banks offer in Germany (they take the whole amount out of your bank account at the end of the month).

Will continue to use, especially for trips abroad.

Where is tbe second part of my order?

Writing a second review in the hope that someone answers. I have tried calling and emailing but nobody responds....

Part of my order was cancelled and refunded as the item 'wasn't in stock'.... but where is the second part of my order? Still waiting, looks like they cancelled the whole order but only refunded me part of it.

Please refund me the rest of my money. It's a small amount but I still want it.

Update: several emails and still no reply or help from Douglas so I had to open a case with PayPal.

After reading several reviews about Douglas, selling products and subsequently cancelling the order because the product is 'out of stock' even though it is showing as available online and back to the original price, is common practice. I am not alone. Never again will I use Douglas.

Never again - shameful practice

So, I bought a bottle of aftershave on the black friday sales. Reduced from 70 euros to 34.99. The product was available and I ordered and paid, I have just been notified that the item has been cancelled as it is not in stock..... On the website, the item is STILL showing as being in stock and back to the normal price before the sale.....

Shameful behaviour from Douglas and the partner who are sending, it should be honoured.

Still waiting on the second part of my order which hasn't arrived and looks like it has been returned to Douglas but I have not received the refund......

Refunds are impossible - Beware

Never again! Placed a large order for dresses and it arrived rather quickly. That is the only positive aspect. Dresses were badly packed and wrinkled, ok still found something I liked.

Returned all other dresses a few days later November 4th by registered post. (thank god I did). They were received on November 7th. No update a week later. I contacted an agent via chat, just told to wait. Another few days, still nothing. Contacted another agent. Oh we never received the items, please email with details to X email address.

Since then I have been going around in circles trying to get back my refund of 370 euros from next. I got 4/5 emails from 4 different agents asking to provide tbe same details I already provided X number of times. It is infuriating. How is it so difficult to read my emails with the details provided and the tracking information and refund my money. My return was sitting in the warehouse unscanned for over 11 days it seems. I think if I sat and waited for the refund without asking questions, nothing would have happened.

I finally had enough and again contacted a service agent via chat last night and he finally refunded me my 370 euros. Thank you Kevin.

Never again. So easy to take the money but impossible to get it refunded. If you are returning items please use tracking otherwise you have no chance.

The website is awful. I search for specific criteria but it still brings up items that are unavailable....
