Absolutely fantastic software

Absolutely fantastic software. I use it primarily for practice, and have been using it across windows and Mac machines. Honestly, I love it.

Only request would be a “prevent sleep” option for osx.

The canceled my appointment despite saying “Come”

Initially had a positive experience, until I was 5 minutes late for an appointment and they told me they had canceled it. I had called them to say I would be 5 minutes late, they told me “okay, no problem, come” and then when I arrived, “f’ off.”

Spoke to the vet outside and she just didn’t want to stick around because she had a personal thing to go to that she could be early to.

They refused to send me my dog’s veterinary data (claiming they owned it) as well until I escalated to the owner.

My guess is the vet is a nice person working in an appointment mill.

They add a subscription years after purchase

These guys are brutal. Their products break frequently, but they know this and so replace them quickly. However, apparently to fund their poor QA replacement policy, they are introducing a subscription for their tools that were previously part of the cost.

Very positive and experience with these…

Very positive and experience with these guys as a business customer. The first refurbished laptop I got wasn’t up to the advertised standard, and they had a new one shipped to me for the next morning after an email and a photo. Excellent and straightforward customer experience.

I purchased a refurbished thinkpad t480s from them. The one I ended up with was in great condition underneath the vinyl refurbishment sticker they had on it (all refurb places put these on) and yeah. Quite happy.

DRM jail threats in kid's audio content.

I find this utterly insane that they would do this, but after purchasing another expensive audio book for my son (Dragon Masters), I start the story for him only to have him threatened with jail if he copies it. My kid proceeds to get really, really quiet, and then begs me to turn it off.

When I contacted Yoto support, they just sent me some stock customer support content and didn't answer my question. Returning the RFID cards takes 14 days after a "physical inspection"

Yotos are clever devices that fit a particular interaction pattern for children that works well, but their content leaves a lot to be desired. Whether it's the 50 euro Narnia collection (you can get it for 5 euro on Audible), or this DRM nonsense. Basically, I'm done with buying the story cards from them. Unfortunately, that likely won't be sustainable for this company. I don't want to fault them per se for their devices catching fire, but seriously. You guys are making content and a content platform for children: think about the impact this stock content has on them.

Mediocre food, terrible customer service

Mediocre food, garbage customer experience. Can’t change anything about order despite calling days in advance. Specifically requesting address change (on account of moving to address in same city), and was basically told there wasn’t nothing they could do. Unhelpful and unempowered customer service rep. Canceled account.

Re: the response below, nice copy/paste job. I am requesting to change ONLY the delivery address, not the content of the order.

To anyone reading this review, this copy and paste answer is a great example of Hello Fresh. Inhuman, disconnected, and unhelpful.

I am sorry to read that we could not make changes to your order. I understand from the feedback you have received from our customer service team that you have passed the deadline for making changes to your order.

Your orders run smoothly on a weekly basis, and you can freely mix and match between the different meals, so you get just the recipes you want the most. Just remember that any changes to your menu or delivery must be made before the deadline so that we can give our suppliers time to order the necessary ingredients, as we do not want to contribute to increased food waste.

For Saturday and Sunday deliveries, the deadline is Tuesday at 23.59. For deliveries on Monday and Tuesday, the deadline is Wednesday at 23.59. For deliveries on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the deadline is Sunday at 23.59.

I ordered from these guys at the beginning of August: now mid September, I am stilling getting their “it will ship in 1-2 weeks” message.

Now that I’ve sent them a request for either a firm shipping date or a full refund, they have stopped responding.

Purchase at your own peril!

RIP Inbox

Normal supplement store. The stuff is fine. However, since ordering from them once been getting spammed by their email and they don’t seem to honour the unsubscribe button. So unfortunately can’t recommend. Pray for my inbox.

Note: I’ve unsubscribed twice, received an unsubscribe confirmation, and then ‘lo, another bulk email. My inbox has out of control gains.

Update: After unsubscribing now 4 times, they’ve added me to an SMS service. Seriously folk, unless you want daily messages for the rest of your life from your dear friends at Bulk, don’t order from these hosers.
