EMH was fantastic throughout the change of kitchen. From the day Lorna came round, so we could choose our kitchen colour, worktop, flooring, paint colour and layout. We knew we were going to be fine. The guys arrived on time to completely rip out the old kitchen and were done within an hour. Next came the plasterer, who did a fantastic job. The electrics were completely changed next. My star of the refit, was Adam the kitchen fitter, who not only did a great job in the scorching heat, but also kept an eye on my tortoise, giving him water. The flooring was fitted and the room was painted. After some snagging, the guys cleaned the outside of my white goods, before refitting them for me. All in all, a great job by the whole team. Thank you EMH.

Octopus Energy, what can i say? It’s Fantastic! I have been a customer for quite a few years now, maybe since they started. They’re honest and clear. Their app is extremely easy to use, having all the information you need, that is clearly visible. But the top of my list of likes, is the fact they’re always the cheapest I can find. My deal comes to an end soon and i was bricking it! I saw my new deal price and my jaw hit the flaw!! That was until i looked at other energy companies and the next cheapest i could find, worked out at an extra £160pcm!!! So even though my D/D has gone through the roof, it’s not their fault. And they STILL work out as the cheapest supplier for me. Keep up the good work Octopus.

Always happy with our milk service. Mcqueens have the online portal where you can change and add to hour order if needed. I did mine slightly wrong, called them and they changed my order back ultra quickly with no pressure to keep the added items on. Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼

I see many people have had various bad interactions with Tesco pet insurance. Me? I couldn’t praise them enough!!
I took out the “premier” and “for life” level of insurance. Obviously, being their top level of insurance, it cost the most. But to be blatantly honest, if (for instance) you are going to get a dog and the breed is one that (could) have issues, what is the point in taking out a level of cover that just won’t suit? I have a Shih-Tzu, we did the research before getting him and knew he could get extremely expensive, should he ever get certain problems a breed like his do. I looked at levels of cover and what certain conditions would cost should he get those problems Shih-Tzu’s tend to get. There was absolutely no point in going any less than the top level of cover. So after paying the premium for approximately six years, he got a problem with his eye, (which is common in his breed) we took him to our local vet where an ulcer was diagnosed. I called Tesco pet insurance there and then. The lady was very sympathetic and told me to go ahead with treatment and everything would be paid directly to the vet (minus the excess) and everything went perfectly smooth. He recovered, but within four weeks, he got a problem with his ear. I took him to the vet, i paid for tests, etc, but was told it was a very bad infection that would need an extremely strong dose of antibiotics. I called Tesco again, as i had now spent more than the excess in treatment and again everything went perfectly. Skip on a few weeks and we are still having problems treating his ear infection, but Tesco have paid every penny straight to my vet. No quibbles from them, it’s just being paid.
I would ALWAYS suggest getting the maximum amount of cover you can afford. There is NO point in scrimping on insurance. I know i could not afford to just hand out the £1800 it cost for his eye treatment and surgery. And i have no idea what has been paid for his ear problems, but it must be in the thousands by now. You wouldn’t buy a classic Ferrari and only insure it third party, so class your pet as that expensive and irreplaceable object.
I have found Tesco VERY considerate and easy to deal with. Just do your research and make sure everything is covered before taking out cheaper cover. Thank you Tesco.
