Terrible customer experience end to end
After placing an order for firewood (300kg trolley bags) on 2 January which has still not arrived. From Rathwood website for my delivery method: “This is our standard delivery method for pallet orders. Your order will be delivered within 3 - 5 working days after your order is received.” After following up today, delivery gets scheduled for next week - 17 working days from order.
Rathwood admitts that they made a mistake and stock has been available for delivery since order being placed.
When I asked for some sort of compensation, management firstly refused anything (I’ve been buying wood from the supermarket for 2 weeks at 8.95€ a day) and then came back with a 10% voucher on next purchase - 18€ off another order that takes 3 weeks to deliver putting me out of pocket by the value of my order?! This is the second order I’ve placed with them and the first also took c. 3 weeks due to fulfilment issues, for which I got 6 additional bags of kiln dried wood.
To even think I’d order from you again is insulting. I expect the refund for the cancelled order as per conversations with your associates.
