We had our curtains fitted yesterday and we couldn’t be happier! This was our first time having curtains professionally fitted, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Our advisor, Peter (Echo 119171), was brilliant – friendly, knowledgeable, and really helpful in guiding us through the options.

The curtains look fantastic and have completely transformed the room. The quality is excellent and the fitting was done quickly and professionally. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hillary’s and Peter to anyone looking for new curtains.

Deeply Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

We had an awful experience with John Francis Ammanford during the attempted sale of our home. After accepting an offer in October 2024, we were repeatedly told for months that completion was “imminent” — yet nothing happened. Communication was poor, timelines were misleading, and the truth was consistently withheld.

As a result, we lost out on around £12,000 in rental income and had to live in cramped conditions with family, with our two young children, expecting the sale to complete any day. Worse still, the buyer was allowed to move furniture into our house without our consent — a serious breach of trust.

After eight months of stress, delays, and misinformation, we’ve had to withdraw from the sale entirely — only then learning the buyer was still £42,000 short.

We’ve now filed a formal complaint and are seeking compensation. Absolutely would not recommend this branch

We have recently bought a house subject to completion through purple bricks and I have been very impressed with the service. So easy to book appointments online. The local estate agent here Samantha Sullivan has been available to contact day or night and has always responded quickly and efficiently with any concerns or queries we have had. I will definitely use purple bricks in the future and would recommend to anyone wanting to sell their home as the system they have makes it so easy!
