I’m a fairly new customer to Bower…

I’m a fairly new customer to Bower collective but I love all their products so far including toilet cleaner, bathroom cleaner, limescale remover and dish washer tablets . I’ve yet to use the floor cleaner. Fantastic service , great products, I love that you can send pouches back to be reused . Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

I absolutely love justbee honey…

I absolutely love justbee honey especially the turmeric and sleep honey which I use daily . I use the turmeric in hot drinks , cooking or on toast and the sleep honey in my cacao at night . Thoroughly recommend them and you get seeds to help the bees as well as recipes and messages from the founder . Great business great product .

I’ve tried the turmeric , sleep and vitamin honey and I love them all . Promptly delivered with a newsletter and thank you from the founder . I received wild flower seeds for my garden too. Highly recommend.

Helpful, prompt service, breakages replaced without quibble

Needed help to calculate the number tiles I needed and Mark talked me through this . Order came on a pallet but due to an imminent holiday and being a full time carer I was not able to check these for some time . When I did check them I found quite a number of breakages amounting to 44 tiles, almost a box . I contacted Mark who arranged to send me a replacement box very quickly for no extra charge. Some of the boxes were a bit flimsy and had been over packaged causing the boxes to weaken and split and had been stacked on the pallet hence the breakages but at least they were replaced and arrived very promptly. I also liked the fact the tiles were British made . Thanks to Mark for sorting out these issues and for the advice on the number of tiles needed of each colour . Would definitely recommend and use them again for my next project.

Chilcomb kitchen I wouldn’t recommend it.

I recently bought a kitchen from Howdens swanley the Chilcomb in Reed Green . The quality of the kitchen is nice but the door panels have a gap that I can get a folded piece of paper (ie 2 sheets) into and the only reason I’ve been given for this is it’s part of the “manufacturing process” . This gap has already caught wood dust in the fitting of the kitchen and will catch dust, food, hair etc and cannot be cleaned other than with a soft brush because the recess is too deep to get a cloth into it . It’s poor design and poor manufacture in my opinion and should have a nice close fit to the rest of the door . I’ve normally been very happy with Howdens but on this occasion I’m not, hence the 2 stars plus I don’t think they’ve made any attempt to look into this properly and have fobbed me off with a few lines in an email which explain nothing . No management has even picked up the phone to me . Even my kitchen fitter agreed the gap was too large . The review would not allow me to leave a photo . I would NOT recommend this kitchen .

I’m enjoying my Suri toothbrush so far…

I’m enjoying my Suri toothbrush so far and have not had to charge it once yet . The brush head is much more effective than my previous sonic brush and it leaves my mouth feeling very clean I’ve yet to use the recycle option to get new heads so can’t comment on this aspect yet . I like the feature of being able to stick my brush to the mirror with the magnetic pad so it’s easily to hand and can drip over the sink .

Best chocolate I’ve ever tasted

I can honestly say I agree with most of the reviews about this company I don’t understand the last review at all because this is the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted . I’ve not found one flavour or type yet I don’t like , whether it’s dark, vegan or milk , it’s all delicious. The flavours are Devine too it never lasts long in our house . Be a wonderful gift chocolate too . Made in York and they are very conscious of using Uk packaging supplies , no palm oil and single source cocao . But it’s the smoothness of the chocolate and the subtle flavours which speak for themselves. I’m a new customer but I’ll definitely be buying this regularly as my guilty pleasure.

Would give this company a minus if I…

Would give this company a minus if I could . Ordered mattress topper 5/1/23 still not in receipt and phoned today it could be another 4 weeks . Not been kept informed all along the way was told 4-6 weeks in feb originally it was 21-28 days !!! Am ASTOUNDED they are still allowed to advertise on Tv using the Dormeo name. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Look at all the other reviews all saying the same . We had the foresight to buy on a credit card which you should ALWAYS do when purchasing items over £100 and have just initiated a section 75 claim . I’ll be amazed if the new owners manage to turn this company around.

I was invited to have a wellness check…

I was invited to have a wellness check as a repeat customer and I asked if my husband who is in a wheelchair could benefit from testing . I totally understood that the tests like ecg and others which involve getting onto a medical bed were not available . Despite me booking a test the company would not do blood tests for my husband only offering home testing . This would involve lots of pricking of his fingers and I’m dubious that enough blood could be obtained for accurate testing . No explanation as to why blood tests cannot be done in a chair has ever been given . I feel this is discriminatory to him and I cancelled my check in disgust . I emailed the CEO but he couldn’t even bother to reply . Very disappointed.

Shoddy workmanship

Shoddy workmanship fitting my new front door . Frame is not level gaps under door, door kicks out one side at bottom, can see daylight under door and above trim. Have drilled through my bedroom wall and left holes . More experienced fitter smoked and spent more time on phone . Fobbed me off when I queried work with excuse my aperture was so out . Complaint in progress I wait to see how they deal with it

This is honestly the worst company I’ve…

This is honestly the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with I’m astounded by the good reviews as it a regular occurrence to wait 30mins to half hour even to speak to someone . South African call centre cannot deal with complex issues . I’ve been shoved onto other departments into a queue without even saying who I’m being put through to . They never call you back and regularly cut you off and yet to have the audacity to say on their holding message customer service is important to them . Even the CEO doesn’t reply and I’ve not even been able to register a complaint. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . I haven’t got one good word to say about them and as we speak I’m on hold AGAIN trying to sort out my problem . I’ve literally spent hours on the phone trying to find someone who can help me . I doubt if SSE ever bother to look at these reviews but they should as they are clearly in major difficulties. Shame on you SSe and Mr Alastair Phillips-Davies for ignoring my numerous emails .

This is second review I’ve written about this company and I fail to understand how they have the rating they have as the plants arrive in such poor condition, often delayed and no one replies to emails other than automated ones. There are so many other good companies out there selling plants . Sadly Sutton’s is not one of them . Don’t waste your money like I did .

Beautiful products

Beautiful products, smells fantastic even when I opened the box it came in . Room spray is divine and lingers for a long time, not tried the bath oil and candle yet but they both smell wonderful. Lovely personal note from Owen Drew himself , nice touch would definitely order again .

Not recommended for plants or plugs

Condition of plugs and plants often arrive half dead , severed or soil everywhere. Long waits and some items unavailable after waiting months . Would not use for fresh plants or plugs again only seeds or Bulbs possibly. Use way to much plastic packaging which makes the plants sweat and rot . Do not always use good couriers either . First time I’ve used Sutton’s won’t be using again there are others which far exceeds their quality and use more environmentally friendly packaging.

Arrived in poor condition

Most of the plugs I’ve ordered have arrived in very poor state and I’ve had to try and nurture them back to life. This is probably down to the carriers used . With varying degrees of success. As the plants are not strong I don’t know how well they will grow ultimately. I won’t be using them for plants again , seeds and bulbs only maybe . Sutton’s seem to think they dealt with my complaint but that was regarding broken seed trays which they did replace .

Friendly family business did a fantastic job on our wet room . Paul the main fitter was really hard working , tidied up each night and lovely finish . Would highly recommend, great service and good quality products . Pleasure to deal with from start to finish .

Terrible customer service and poor quality control

I ordered my pudding sofabed in the July after getting fabric samples . The sofa arrived within the stated delivery window but that’s when all my troubles started . The delivery driver noticed that one of the feet had not been correctly made and there was a screw massively sticking out which would’ve severely damaged my floor. It was reported by the driver and also myself and I was told that this small foot was made to order and would take 6-8 weeks to arrive! Apparently they don’t have spares! it did not arrive and after several phone calls and emails I was offered a partial refund due to the inconvenience, I was told I would not get the partial refund until I was happy with everything. I therefore had no refund and no foot. When the foot did arrive it was totally different and three times the size and was apparently the foot for the sofa NOT the sofa bed . More phone calls more emails to no avail so finally I asked to speak with a manager, Bradley , who took ownership of my problem and sought to solve it .
Magically they were able to find me a foot after having waited 6-8 weeks before . The first foot never arrived . The second foot arrived in an enormous box for its size , loose , no pad on the bottom . I was also offered a further partial refund and the total was finally paid to me ,
Bradley arranged for a Homeserve technician to fit the foot today . He had to re do the screw hole as the foot would not screw in. So nearly four months after ordering this sofa I can now use it . Loaf customer service is appalling . The tone of the emails are cheesy “always happy to help! “ This is fine if that was true! . The service agents were not able to ensure what they promised actually happened . My saving grace was Bradley who took personal control of the complaint and followed it through all they way.
Loaf need to up their quality control , training of customer service representatives and warehouse staff. Their products are pricey and customers expect a certain level of quality and service for that .
For the reasons above I don’t think I would buy from Loaf again or recommend them to anyone . Something has happened within the company as seen by the numerous poor reviews lately . I think it’s also notable that they only seem to respond to the good reviews on Trustpilot when really it’s the BAD REVIEWS which they should be commenting on . It shows a certain arrogance and lack of customer care . I wanted to support this British company but I would be unlikely to make another purchase from them .
