AVOID this company if you think you may ever want to deal with their customer service team.
I ordered a custom fit dress for a special occasion and while it fitted pretty well I still had to take it to a tailors to be altered.
Their site syas they will cover an amount of this cost depending on the cost of the dress.
I also noticed a ripped side seam on the bust of my dress the first time I tried it on. I complained to the customer service team (if you can even call it customer service) and said I wanted reimbursement for the tailoring AND for the quality issue AS PER MY CONSUMER RIGHTS.
WEEKS of back and forth later the most they were willing to offer me was £25 which
a) wasn't what their website said would cover for the alterations and
b) didn't take into account the quality issue
They kept saying I was outside the return window even though I was never trying to return the damn thing
I eventually went through myt Credit Card company (thank goodness I had to foresight to pay this way)and issued a charge back and a complaint to Mastercard.
I got the money back for the whole dress and then Stacees refuted my claim saying once again I was outside the return window.
This total lack of understanding of my issue and their utter unwillingness to help me in any way was so unrpofessional and actually borderline rude at times.
My credit card thankfully rejected their response and it has now been sorted but it took 3 months of back and forth and a lot of stress for something that - had they offered me the £50 I was asking for (which their site said they would pay) I would have accepted in a day.
All of this has compoletly overshadowed the fact that the dress was stunning and despite the minor flaws I would have been very happy if I hadn't had to go through months of stress and unpleasantness from their staff.
