Ordered a Childs coat from the JD Website, paid £100 as per the website price, when the coat arrived it had a sticker on it which said £80, this was not a discount sticker - but the actual original barcode with the printed £80 price tag, clearly they have increased the price on the website. If this was a discounted sticker or some kind of discount I wouldn't be that bothered - but this was a blatant case of the website charging more and just ripping off Customers. I wouldn't care so much again if it were my own money rather than my 11 year olds pocket money, luckily I managed to remove the label before he saw it as that would have been really unfair for him to see.

Very good service from start to finish. For me, the fact that it's all done via an app made it all extremely useful and straightforward. The pricing was fair and the collection/return process was easy. It would have been nice to have a choice of different cars or even an EV option. But for the price and convenience, the hire was enjoyable. Would recommend.
We've been using setmore for 6-7 years, it has always been reliable and does exactly what we need.

Agreed a deal with Vimcar for 7 x GPS trackers, delivered within a few days. Complete plug and play solution which had all our vehicles ready and online within a few hours. Very very impressed by the sales process and the support provided. We have been very impressed with the product and software, so much so that we ordered an additional 4 trackers this week.
Concept is very good. Out of 4 bookings, 2 have worked well. One booking I didn’t attend as it seemed like a lot of hassle to park and then walk in to a busy hotel to explain the situation to obtain a pass and then walk back to the car - I just paid and didn’t attend. The second problem was today when I visited the Car Park and couldn’t find the pin pad where you are supposed to type the code in, there were significant building works happening on the building and much of it was scaffolded in, preventing any access. Even trying the other entrance to the back of the property there was just an intercom button with no pin pad and pressing the button just rang out without any answer. The concept is good, but as with most things - the devil is in the detail and I’m afraid the proposition isn’t as operationally proficient as one would expect. For disclosure I didn’t follow the escalation process on either booking because 1. The telephone number was for a named contact in London (for a Manchester Car Park) 2. This kind of thing shouldn’t need support - it should be seamless.
Also just to add. The space I wanted to book today showed as available and the booking failed three time on the attempt to pay with a message to say the space wasn’t available. However the space still shows as available now and still unable to book. Clearly the tech has gremlins too.

Thanks for this very thorough review. Despite the issues faced with your booking and parking experience, this feedback does enable us to analyse where the shortcomings were made in order to prevent this from occurring again in the future.
Taking a look at your booking locations, I have noticed that the car park in question does have a large volume of bookings with a 4.5 + star average which does make these types of issues surprising to hear of.
While I do appreciate that the car park requires the permit to be collected and how this may not be what was desired, this information is provided within the booking instructions themselves so it should not come as a surprise to any driver who intends on using this space.
You have mentioned that on other occasions, using the intercom to gain access to the car park was not successful after the intercom call rang out. This intercom certainly is something that we expect to be manned for all drivers so I have flagged this with the car park provider in order to safeguard against the possibility of this occurring again.
Unfortunately, it does seem that none of these issues have been reported to YourParkingSpace or the space owner (as mentioned in this review) which does mean no opportunity has been provided for these issues to be remedied on the spot.
It is worth noting that the vast majority of these car park providers, while being called on a number not local to the car park, do have the ability to provide access to the booked space and as such should be contacted first to have any parking concerns taken care of.
Despite this booking being less than perfect and the technical issues faced (which have since been entirely patched out!) I don't doubt that future bookings will run as expected. Booking concerns are exceptionally rare so I look forward to nothing but smooth sailing and 5-star bookings going forward!
