Turstpilot protecting Shambles of GoDaddy and block honest reviews

Good old Trustpilot, allowing the money to prevent honest reviews about shambolic service of Godaddy.

You have to input your account number then get a request to input your email to receive a code to input to supposedly make sure your review is honest post your truthful experiences about GO Daddy. Great engineering to make people give up posting the truth.

We see this with Grant boiler as well.

I left a review about Grant boilers and their failure to communicate and offer support to engineers attempting to repair there products in the field. You allow them to remove unfavourable reviews unless we provide a serial number. 1. I won’t reveal my customers serial number.
2. This would identify my customer who asked me to repair their boiler and enable Grant to solicit and market to my customer to take job.

Hi Alsadair,

Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

Everyone who wishes to leave a review on Trustpilot for any company must have an account in case we need to contact the author to verify the review. That's why you need to login to leave a review. It's not to make it more difficult to leave a review, it's a measure to ensure we know a real person is behind the review, so we can protect the integrity of our community. In this article is exactly explained why an account is needed to leave a review: https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/203909546-Do-I-need-a-user-account-on-Trustpilot-

Our basic business features for replying/inviting/reporting are free to any business who would like to use Trustpilot. We do have a paid subscription, and this is for access to further integrations and automation. Paying for Trustpilot doesn't give businesses the ability to block or delete reviews, as no business on Trustpilot has the ability to do this.

We're namely led by strong guidelines that help us to decide if a review is compliant or not. It isn't in our interest to favour one party or the other - we're here to be a fair and impartial third party. Your trust is what makes Trustpilot work, so we would never do anything to jeopardize that.

All reviews are welcome here, whether they're positive and negative, the only thing you need is to have a user account with Trustpilot and a genuine experience in the last 12 months.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us here https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

--------- Update,

Hi Alsadair,

Thanks for updating your review.

If you don't wish to share information with the company, you don't need to do this. It isn't a requirement. You may be asked for it by a company using our Find-reviewer Tool and this is used for them to be able to better assist with the review and a possible problem. However, if you don't want to share this information, this isn't required.

Furthermore, should a company flag a review to us, we don't take this flag for face value. You might in these cases be asked to provide to our Content Integrity team some documentation showing you had an experience with the company, but this is only seen by our Content Integrity Team and will never be shared with the company. We value your privacy.

I don't have any insights into your specific case about the review written, but our Content Integrity Team is more than happy to assist further. So please don't hesitate to reach out to them here:  https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000910020

Churchill website full of lies and failures!

Told you can add and remove my daughter so you don’t have to hang on the phone for hours.
Added her on short terms when she comes home from Uni.
Tried to login and my policy has disappeared?
This shambles of a website has a chat bot as useless as a punctured condom!
Scan a QR code which will provide a secure WhatsApp connection. Did this still the website doesn’t work!
So my daughter looses a days wages, no doubt It will be 2-3 hours of bloody torture trying to add her on the phone system and I will be billed £40 for the failure of their website whilst loosing earnings whilst on hold!
Well this morning the Fiasco continued started trying to communicate by phone and spent an hour to add my daughter for 10 months to end of policy, £1155.86.
Popped on go compare whilst holding due to their 15mins the wait time, their bot can’t handle issues like this. A new 12 months policy including daughter plus breakdown, windscreen, legal, recovery £850.
Same data put in.
Clearly though as I held the policy with them they could rip me off.
Amending your policy before to contact this bunch shop for a new policy! You have been warned.

Review of Remeha

Never provide Remeha customer Address!

I was called to a community Centre to repair their commerical boiler with intermittent problem.

Did basic checks and inquired about their servicing. It was not being done annually. I called Remeha to inquire to get a PDF of their servicing schedule. The lady on the other end of the phone refused point blank to email it to me unless they had the postcode and full details of where I was working to they could then contact my customer to solicit my work.
Well Remeha can take their manual and place where the sun doesn’t shine.
Never ever provide Remeha any location, telephone numbers for your customers as like Baxi will always attempt to Rob work off engineers!

Can’t supply a PDF manual of a boiler

So much for their products, try and find a manual for Buderus GE515 and it seems to be an official secret!
Promised will be emailed, never arrives!
Call back,”Oh our email system won’t let us send a manual that size!”
Promised a call back but I think I will be a long time dead if previous Buderus support effort is anything to go by!
So thinking of buying Bosch/Buderus don’t no support!

Money talks and Trustpilot removes honest reviews

This site is fraudulent in that it removes real reviews about companies like Grant UK. I posted a real review when I tried to source costs for parts to repair a boiler. Being in NI part of the U.K. I called grant UK but told to do one and call a foreign country where the telephone NEVER EVER gets answered.
Trustpilot came back wanting to remove my review unless I have a boiler serial number.
I refused to provide it as grant then would look up database and then solicit my customer to take my work.
The result I pulled the boiler out and replaced it with another make.
So in short to keep getting paid Trustpilot will remove your honest reviews to keep the money rolling in.
We seen the same with a Midlands U.K. boiler maker who told their accredited engineers to go on and leave positive reviews. Trustpilot will go blind for the right amount of money.
Pity that firm has fallen a long way from their previous position.

Then why did you remove an accurate review of Grant U.K. aftersales service? There is no need to justify my review with a serial number when I was not fitting one of their trash boilers!

Hi Alasdair,

We appreciate the feedback and the fact you took the time to share your experience with us and the community here on Trustpilot.

Trustpilot reviews will only be removed if they go against our guidelines.

Trust and transparency is the very essence of Trustpilot, therefore we take the utmost care to ensure the integrity of all reviews. Under no circumstance does Trustpilot allow businesses to misrepresent their score or delete reviews from their profile. This goes against everything we stand for as a business and is simply not possible.

Trustpilot is an open review community, meaning anyone can review whether they have been invited by the company or not, which makes us different and special as a review community. We allow everyone to have a voice. Based on this, we also give everyone the opportunity to flag a review that does not seem compliant with our guidelines. You can read more about our reporting process here: https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/207312237-What-happens-if-my-review-is-reported-

Businesses can not force us to delete reviews, and every review is investigated against our guidelines. No matter if a company has a paid subscription, or using Trustpilot for free, the process is the same. We do not show favour to businesses or reviewers, simply apply our guidelines fairly in every case.

I hope this has helped to clarify how Trustpilot works, and reassure you transparency and trust are our main focus. If you have any further questions, please reach the team here https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

All the best,

Review of Grant UK

I am an installer

I am an installer, I offered a grant boiler to the customer 2018, his had died after 22 years. We attended and flushed and connected up new boiler, proper fire valve filter etc all the get out of jail cards the makers try to use to escape warranty. Wired, fitted double pole switch with 5 amp fuse. Tried to fire burner, fan fouling inside casing. No probs call warranty to get out same day and sort it.
Called Uk as I am in NI part of UK, feck off call Cork! I now have to make international call which no lazy persons was interested in picking up the phone!
Simple, I called merchant and told them to get another complete boiler out to me inc burner and I am going to pull this out and throw it down the driveway and they can cart it away and I will fit the one they bring, if they don’t I will obtain an alternative product elsewhere and withhold my Labour cost from their account. Grants failures are not my concern.
Since then I won’t use their boilers, flue systems which aren’t out the wall are an nightmare to work out and cost nearly as much as boiler. Cork don’t answer the phone, docs poor. On sealed systems the boiler pinches the baffles and u need to depressurise to get them out.

Godaddy has become very hard work

Godaddy has become very hard work! I have been with them 10 years, before placing an order, hosting, getting thing sorted was easy. Now you have to use chat, 5-10 minute delay, staff don’t know what they are doing. Constantly charging me in dollars despite telling them Sterling. Getting someone on the phone minimum 30 minute wait to 75% of time don’t know what they are doing. I have cancelled all my auto renews to sort dollar problem, domain manager won’t load or work.
Cut off my website which I had the dns configured but now as their domain manager page doesn’t work can’t get it sorted.
Tried to get office 365 through them they made a mess of that to.
It’s always better to let product lapse and re purchase and get it 50% cheaper as they rob you if you renew. If looking SSL go use free ones as getting there’s is a nightmare.
It’s sell sell sell and not what’s good or would work for you.

I purchase a used VW approved polo

I purchase a used VW approved polo, 30 day hand back if problems. 1st few days ok, then wife reported loss of power, oil light blink on, engine warning light. Limped it round corner onto driveway. I plugged in reader to see what wrong, misfire cylinder 1, shut down injector to prevent catalyst damage.
VW assist came out showed him codes which I cleared and hadn’t reappeared. Faffed about greased coil pack, insulation damaged and cracked when removed and refitted, took it a spin, didn’t miss fire, not changing anything as computer did not see a code.
Drove again, wife reported miss fire again, one occasion on turning right misfired returned loss of power fortunately driver braked otherwise lights out.
I drove Thursday night to Newtownabbey, couple of miss fires but drove, arrive and at location and then left. Approached round about from branch road, drove on and went to accelerate off roundabout, missfire sequence required me to de clutch and scream engine to get some power slipping clutch to avoid being rear ended by 71/2 tonne lorry. Then engine went back onto all cylinders.
Called VW assist as it’s under warranty, got some idiot on the phone, we won’t come to house, you need to drive it to dealer.
Called dealer reported, 3 hours later get a call, we are very busy catching up on service work (other words I’ve bought a car not interested in sorting as the get fresh cash for servicing not warranty work) it might be 3-4 weeks before we can fit you in. We don’t have a loan car.
So do I now jack the car back as still within 30 days or will Donnellys get their finger out?
I know as a key worker running transporter vans they shut up shop and ignored non police and ambulance customers and we had to do servicing elsewhere. Now it looks like I will have to see if someone else can step up and sort it and I will have to pay even though I paid for 12 month warranty which is a VW but seems like all promise and no legs.
So jack it and demand refund or will someone make it safe and give another 30 jack period?
Wonder can I get a refund on 3 year service plan?
Very disappointing

123 Send Once great now one to avoid at all cost

I have been with 123Send from very early days but I have had enough! I originally purchased my old machine and served well with fast tech support.
The old machine was exchanged out and there this disaster begins!
Left holding on calls, promised calls back, lines dropped, told its sorted, its not. Tod Staff member instructed Worldpay to disconnect my terminal when it was returned and this is meant to be the problem, I don't believe anything I am told now!
Updates, require aquirers, test now 13hours into this saga had enough. Bad enough having to drive round with Sumup's to take deposits rather than over the phone, ordered in more Sumup's. I have lost sales and still trying to get paid.
I have taken this waste of plastic and boxed it up as there is no urgency in getting things sorted!
I will have to pay to post it back at my cost and be left around £900 out of pocket, so thinking card payment provider this was a good one once but now one to avoid at all costs!
Seems Mr Mark Roberts has destroyed what was a good company!
Well the Saga of 123 Send continues! Still no attempt to sort the problem. I sent the new dead one back to their address on the website as staff couldn’t after hours of attempts to get it to work it was as much use as a flat tyre. I paid for postage and packed and shipped. Royal Mail returned it as they had moved. Clearly customer service and correspondence address is a hassle. I asked for a subject access request the are refusing without completing a form, you don’t have to according to ICO which is were next complaint is going. I have been without a functioning machine since 6 Sept 2020. My advice is once things begin to leave the rails stop the direct debt! Waited two weeks no communication then some new guy ,”O this is bad it’s not right I will get it sorted.” Well I now have a pre paid postage label, still haven’t returned my machine to me and no further forward 25/10/20. I am compiling my costs spent dealing with this bunch of amateurs which I paid for a service which they have not provided due to their staff incompetence, financial loss and submit. Their machine will sit here until mine is returned, compensation is forth coming and then and only then I might consider shipping their hunk of junk back.
Get yourself a SumUp or Square as these operators are now Amateurs in the market as it appears anyone who started 123send have clearly jumped ship!

Shambolic Service to Certificate of Insurance

I was shopping for a policy for a new car I was buying. Got the quote but hand to call as despite clicking I was married and my wife was married it would not let me select spouse.
I had to call and got a help gent, sorted website fault to insure data was correct and paid. I got a confirmation of insurance but in small print,”This is not a legal document and not for use for tax purposes.”
The Post Office and DVLA refused to tax vehicle, no proof of insurance. Called back and phone system repeatedly dropped call after 15 minutes on hold just goes silent.
Then when I get through I am told ,”It takes 7 days to issue certificate.”
So I am left to drive with no Road Tax or pay insurance and leave car in dealership.
So they take your cash, expect u to wait a week for your certificate and don’t issue a legal receipt for the money you have paid.
So I lost 3 hours as I am self employed spent chasing a dubious company to get what I had paid for.
Will be forwarding complaint to FCA.
Before purchasing clarify when will you will get a “cover note” or your “certificate of insurance” as anything else they issue is worth nothing.
The 1st time insuring with them and the last!

Poor build quality for premium price!

Customer wanted a floor standing combi boiler, I advised her against this brand as they have been value engineering the quality out of them with loss of cheap nasty plastic parts.
Fitted it, the jig and parts of the boiler were so sharp it sliced paper like a Stanley knife. When turned on the water the fillloop leaked, we know calling for a warranty engineer was a waste of time as usually it a weeks wait for no heat, no hot water. This is not the 1st so called factory tested boiler that has water leaks internally straight out of the box.
I know it won’t last as long as the previous Vokera with its brass and copper hydraulics as WB used plastic everywhere including auto air vents. Paying premium price for plastic junk!

Ideal Boiler true to form, promises call but never calls!

I posted a review about both the commerical and domestic side of Ideal boilers.

Not returning calls from September commerical side, domestic not returning calls.

Sales rep not responding to voicemail, text messages from 2 weeks ago.

They then asked me to contact them, and I did. I was promised a call today the 12/3/20 and true to form no call. So if you need a boiler this is a brand to avoid at all costs.

You might want to have a look at how trust pilot handles a bad review for paying Ideal Boilers, no reviews for several weeks and when a bad review a landslide of positive reviews.

I was to receive a call, that means someone on the telephone, not a brush off email!

They lack the basic manners to answer questions and provide what is the most basic customer service! An email is someone spouting from a megaphone and communication which means two way. Better get on and call in fake reviewers to push bad reviews down now again.

I think the work trust need removed!

When large boiler company manipulate Trust Pilot and they get sales kick back

I previously highlighted how a large boiler company wrote and told all their accredited engineers where to post positive reviews. This bypasses the IP checking and computer profile.

The engineers where offered discounted Trustpilot registration so it was in Trust pilots interest to look the other way as it boosted sales for them to.

You can have all the procedures but when money on the table ethics and procedures go out the window.

Trust pilot know exactly who I am referring to, but continue to cover up cash for positive reviews.

I still have the email request from them!

Aftersales support non existent and can operate phones!

As an organisation they are a total shambles! Commerical side promise call back in September still waiting!

Domestic side even worse take deals to call back, 8 more calls and finally get through to the supposed technical guy 1 of 6 for all of UK! Reading from crib sheet with no clue about working on their products. I have had to change out 3 main heat cells for customers failing.

Called and texted local rep 3 weeks on no response.

Hi Alasdair,

Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry to hear you feel Trustpilot has fake reviews. We in no way would allow businesses to write and post their own reviews, and we run every review that is posted through our fraud detection software. This unique software runs independently, 24/7 across our platform, examining a large range of different behavioral parameters - such as, for example, IP addresses. The system then uses an algorithm to calculate the likelihood that reviews are fake. This is represented by a ‘fake score’. If the score for an individual review is very high, our software will automatically move the review offline and send an email message to notify the reviewer. You can read more about our tool here https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000711088-How-does-our-fraud-detection-software-work-

We also have other measures in place to ensure fake reviews are not posted:

* A Compliance Team that includes specialist investigators dedicated to uncovering fraud
* Tools enabling consumers and businesses to flag reviews to our Compliance Team if they violate our User or Company Guidelines
* A whistleblower function that allows anyone who notices fraudulent behavior to contact our Compliance Team
* Posting consumer alerts on company profiles to warn users that we have detected significant fraudulent behavior
* Systematic monitoring, reporting and requests for removal of advertisements from companies asking for, or individuals offering to write, fake reviews
* Termination of contracts with businesses who repeatedly contravene our Company Guidelines, and the ability to block fraudulent users from our community

If you come across any reviews you believe might be fake, you can notify us by clicking the flag next to the review. You can read more about that here: https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/203419993-How-can-reviewers-Notify-Compliance- This will raise an investigation with our compliance team. Hey Alasdair,

Here at Revolut, we’re always trying our best to provide efficient support to all of our users with any issues you might have.

In your case, the payment at E-Bath is pending. It means that funds are blocked temporarily. Merchants have 7 calendar days to accept or decline pending transactions. Up until the end of this period, we’re not able to do anything, unless we are authorised by the merchant to cancel the transaction, which is something you’ll have to request. We will return the funds to you after the 7 day period, given that the merchant did not accept them.
