Awful customer service and sales practices

Just terrible. They don't honor their pricing schemes and will not provide the additional advertised trade in value.

The customer service is over seas; so if you are moving from Apple, you'll be extremely disappointed.

Awful service- you'll lose money

Phobio is utilized by Motorola and is just awful. They cancelled my trade in once they had the phone, submitted as advertised, and Motorola called their escalations team but they still returned the phone.

Since it was part of a $200 promotion, I was charged this by Motorola and now my phone is worth less since the new iPhones came out.

When we took a look at the details of your trade, Motorola required us to send your phone back to you because you either requested to return your newly purchased phone or exchanged your new phone. Both scenarios will automatically cancel your trade with us.

As we do not have the ability to reverse this, we suggested that you contact Motorola for further details on how this can be resolved. Please know that this is not specific to you, Justin; this is standard for any Motorola order that has been returned or exchanged.

We appreciate you bringing up this topic so that others are also aware of what happens when you return or exchange your Motorola order that includes a trade-in phone.

From Great to downhill

I’m not going to lie, I only wanted this system for the touchscreen. Zero INTERFACE updates after three years.

Three years later, the equipment offerings are the same, the price has increased $5 per month, and customer service has been shipped overseas.

Now they are no different than cheaper competitors on the market.

Very poor prescribing methods

Very poor prescribing methods. I’ve been on the exact same dose of add and anxiety medication for over a decade. The moment the clinician entered video chat, she said “we can’t prescribe these”.

I continued the visit since there was no refund and it was expensive. Apparently they prescribe “non stimulant” products after their PR nightmare. Would not recommend this service at all!!!

I was prescribed Strattera, a TWENTY year old medication, in lieu of the Vyvanse.

I hope they don’t break HIPAA and attempt to make me “self identify” as they have other reviewers who posted negative reviews.

Broad exclusions means zero payments

We opted for coverage offered by Centerpoint Energy. Upon noticing our water meter box is broken, I contacted Home Serve. They stated it’s considered an act of God and not covered.

You’re better off using what you’d pay their premiums and put in a savings account. Their customer service is horrible and it’s literally throwing money down the drain.

Great until you request a payout

It was great having coupon codes and going for the mega cash back. I scored two offers of buy $100 get $100 in return. Totally understand it take 30-60 days, to ensure the return window is closed before payout.

Once this time had passed, I requested the payout. Instantly my account was locked and flagged for fraud.

It was like an FBI interrogation that I had multiple accounts and would not receive the payout. This was simply a stall tactic. I only had one account and had never received reimbursement under any other coupon cabin account.

To say the least, I was treated like crap. After several escalations, I finally received the payout…. But, I was BANNED for life due to the escalations.

Unfortunately, TP will not allow you to attach screenshots that reflect the belittling conversations and poor customer service received.

Avoid mortgages with this bank!

The re-fi process with NBKC was flawless. Unfortunately I was not aware that my mortgage would be serviced by Dovenmuehle. Their customer service makes Comcast look great! My property taxes were paid by my old lender, but Dovenmuehle re-paid them as soon as the loan closed. Now I’m out an additional $5k and all they can say is “take it up with the city”.

I dream every night that my mortgage is sold to another lender… they are just awful.

There are many platforms that offer fundraising as much lower transaction costs. GoFundMe decided to play “woke corporation” and block fundraising for those vilified by the media. Now those individuals were proven not guilty. Corporations have no right to decide who is guilty and who is innocent without our court system.

Texas Company with GREAT service

This is an amazing service and happy it’s based in Texas. My LLC was formed in a little over a week, using standard processing. The EIN is was received less than a week after from the IRS.

The portal is great and things have been so smooth there was zero reason to reach out to support.

Great as long as you don’t run into a merchant issue

Things were great for the past years considering no issues arose.

When I purchased airline services with my PenFed Cash Back card, the merchant sent an email stating the fare was refundable. The merchant failed to issue a refund/voucher, so I then filed a dispute with PenFed. A temporary credit was issued, but which was later reversed.

Per PenFed “This merchant has denied our attempt to arbitrate the matter… please contact the merchant to resolve the matter."
15+ minutes on hold for customer services, I spoke with a representative that had no clue as to what to do. She requested I email the same documentation that was initially provided with my dispute and they would look it over.

After posting my initial review, I then received a call from Nate at PenFed. He stated there wasn't anything they could do with Visa regarding arbitration and to contact the merchant because "$112 isn't a lot of money".

I had over $25k parked at PenFed and didn't earn $112 in dividends for the year, so I can see why he feels it isn't a lot of money.

My accounts are now with a different institution, who pays a higher rate with a fee schedule of zeros. Thanks for the reality check PenFed.

*Check the business transparency page, 30+ positive reviews monthly from March 2021 to current* This says a lot.

Delivery issue- CS came thru in the end

Update:
I wanted to provide an update that Away reached out and provided a refund for the missing package. I appreciate them correcting the situation.

Two suggestions for Away to make the customer experience better:
-Offer ‘signature required’ delivery service to assure these high end luggage items are truly delivered to the intended recipient.
-Offer a live chat function if the original email inquiry can not be resolved. While emails are replied in less than a business day, the ongoing thread back-and-forth is painful and feels like 1999.

Original Post:
Get ready to jump thru hoops if you have a delivery issue!!! UPS claims they left a $250 package on my front porch, but I never received it. My cameras do not show the package being delivered.

There is no way to reach Away by phone, so everything must be completed by email. This is insane and a tremendous amount of wasted energy over a suit case.
