Our experience with Medway Law in house IAMSOLD conveyancing teams
Do not recommend!!! We bought through modern method of auction( 56 days max from draft contracts) . Our solicitor did a fantastic job and was ready to exchange/complete 28 days in. Only then do we find out Medway Law had not even got the ID documents or the contract etc signed after 28 days ! We went through three different conveyancing teams before exchange /completion over three weeks after we were ready....sluggish , no rush at all , unprofessional...day after day went by with finally then the contract being signed and tracked and traced and signed for back to Medway ...mislaid in Medways post room/offices .. so had to be done again!!!! One of the sellers was abroad ...even when that was again eventually received they delayed by saying meter readings needed doing and then they had to get verbal consent from the sellers...who obviously were not told to be ready to give it ..!! More delays!!
Don't think that because it is an auction they will do things quickly .. totally unorganized chaos. Caused us so much unnecessary delay and stress to get the key!!
Started with team Corbett ..went sick and hadn't got the ID and signed contracts back 28 days in.
Tean Brown took over ...still more delays
Team Clarkson ..I recommend as they took over when team Brown wasn't in the office and got it exchanged and completed that day !
