Slow claim handling with a happy end

On the 13.05.2021 I have bought a new Napoleon grill for around 3.500kr. at Bauhaus. Not even one month later it began rusting and when I complained about this, Bauhaus forwarded the claim to Backyard Living (Napoleon distributor) for Denmark, who never solved it.
When I deal with Bauhaus, I want to solve my problems with Bauhaus...

EDIT: Great reaction to my trustpilot feedback! Big thanks to Katja and Aleksander from Bauhaus Valby. Katja reached out to me and confessed having no information about my case - so it must have been in the limbo for two years inbetween Bauhaus and Napoleon. She offered that I could come by with the grill and get a replacement with the same or a different model. In the end, Aleksander from the garden department took the time, showed and explained me various models. After my Napoleon experiences I ended up chosing Weber as replacement. Now I have a grill, hopefully with less rust and headaches. I am very happy for the solution, but would have wished it would not have taken almost two years.

Gode priser og shop, dårlig eksekvering

Bestilte to varer og fik bekræftet leveringsdato d. 17.03, leveringen blev rykket til d. 30.03 uden kommunikation. Skulle selv logge ind og tjekke. Som shop vil det være god stil at sende de varer på lager af sted og send resten fragtfrit bagefter. Dårlig oplevelse, vil ikke bestille igen.

Produkter bestilt samlet afsendes samlet, med mindre kundeservice bedes om andet fra dig.
Vi opsplitte ikke bestillinger automatisk. Skal vi gøre det, vil det påvirke den generelle fragtpris på hjemmesiden. Da omkostningen til forsendelse vil stige.

Lidt for langsom... 🤨

Jeg har bestilt GoFast’s Black Friday tilbud og desværre kommer di ikke igang med afsendelsen af varen. (Og ingen proaktiv kommunikation - vi har det travlt osv.)
Lidt Skuffende...men håbentlig kommer det snart :)

Firma er under konkursbehandlingen, batteriet af min løbehjul er død, ingen mulighed for service.

Dårlig reklamationshåntering

Purchasing online in their shop was easy though way more expensive then other shops. When I got (my computer screen) delivered it had a dead pixel. To get my claim solved I had to physically drive there and discuss 1(!) with their claim handling team to get the full price credited. I have then ordered it at another, cheaper and friendlier shop called Føniks Computer. I will not buy at Elgiganten again :)

The food is extraordinary good and the staff also super friendly. It is more expensive than the average, but definetly worth it!

Highly unreliable and unprofessional!

I needed a repair for my old bike and also wanted to buy a new one.
First, the consultancy was really good and they offered me a repair for around 375 kr. + working hours. They also offered me a used bike and I agreed to buy it and to pick it up when handing in my broken one.
When I arrived 4 days later, they sold the "sold" bike in the meanwhile...
I was super disappointed, but handed my bike in for a repair anyway (stupid...).
They ignored my claims about their unprofessional behaviour, did not offer a compensation and also did not appologize at all.
The repair was scheduled for 3-4 days, but took more than two weeks. They did not inform me about the delay and only released it, after I called twice. The repair was done insufficient (see UPDATE).

At the check-out they charged me 950 kr. for the repair and also did not call me informing me about the increasing costs. (I asked for that)
Anyway, they promised to come back with a suggestion on a new bike the next day.

Now, two weeks later I have stilll not heard anything. I really gave them a few chances, but they have failed completely. Never again and I would not recommend it to people wanting reliable and professional service.

UPDATE 15/11/18: Today I had to do an emergency braking and both brakes failed. I am completely done and shocked.
