Excellent costumer service as always.

Excellent costumer service as always.

I’ve been away with Canvas at least 10 times over the years and I’ve always found the customer service advisors polite and friendly.

In the past when plans have changed Canvas alway try to work with you rather than the typical ‘that’s your problem, your deposit is gone’ attitude.

Pay for the real stuff!

The two scents ordered smelt nothing like the scents that they are ‘inspired by’ and are truly unpleasant. I asked a few other people to give their opinion and one person said it smelt like hand gel.
Both consisted of a very strong alcohol smell and actually made my skin itch.

I would send them back but given it was almost a 3 weeks wait to receive them, I have to cover the costs myself and the refund is not guaranteed I think it’s likely more money down the drain.
I’m giving 2 stars because the scent did linger all day, which if you liked it, would have been great.

Pleasantly surprised. Very genuine

I purchased on the introductory offer so I paid what I thought was worth a ‘punt’. I purchased as my engagement ring and eternity now fall off my finger but I’m hesitant to re-size until I have maintained my weight loss for some time. These were purchased as a stand in.
I am shocked how lovely they are.
I have had people comment and ask me ‘new rings?’. I think people think I’ve suddenly come into some money!

Broken locker & parcels stuck in limbo

I have 3 parcels all arriving at the same locker. The locker has been broken for 3 weeks.
The courier is stuck in a loop of attempting delivery & failing. In post keep telling me that after 3 attempts thr items should be redirected back to the sender and then I can ask for a refund.
This appears not to be the case. There have now been 8 attempts.
What is most frustrating is that there are alternative lockers within half a mile. Inpost have no facility to redirect, no resilience within their systems if a locker is broken. Their response is ‘well this happens sometimes, you will have to take it up with the sender’. They say there is nothing that they can do as they are not the actual courier, this is done by a second company, usually Evri. But they don’t know who (how is this true?!?) and so can not do anything to redirect.
The sender has said I can ask for a refund once the parcel arrives back to them.
£250 down, parcels in limbo, Inpost offering no support or sympathy

Wrong code printed at the location!

Selected the location using the code, but the code did not exist in the app. Therefore it defaulted to the next location, which also happened to be a Morrisons.
I got a ticket.
I called and they fully accepted that the technical fault was theirs, but that I should have left so I have to pay the fine.
I argued I had paid, so clearly the misunderstanding was theirs. They said it was, but I should have left so the ticket stands.
I’d also like to point out the customer service advisor only gave me his name after several requests.

Good customer service

Quick delivery with regular updates.
The £5 discount card that was ordered (just to bring the price down) didn’t arrive. I was able to speak to customer services quickly had a refund within 2 hours.

They do not respond to any messages

I would give no stars if I could.
I purchased 2 bikes for my children. Both arrived with a considerably cheaper price tag on the box. One was the wrong bike, with no instructions and broken.
I’ve now emailed them 4 times in 6 weeks. No reply.
I’ve sent messages via FaceTime and Twitter, no reply.
I have sent a letter - you guessed it, no reply.
I’m not in the position where I am going to have to pay to get the broken bike fixed and my daughter will have the have a different bike to what you ordered.
I will never buy anything from House of Fraser again as they have proven they take your money and just ignore you.

Excellent product.

Brilliant idea. Rolls are definitely much larger than a standard roll. 48 pack last my family of 5 approx 4-5months. I love the plastic free interesting packaging.
I’m not sure how soft people expect toilet paper to be, are people used to using silk? For those saying it’s so rough it gives sores I feel sorry for you. I use the standard stuff and it’s fine, thick enough your not worried about putting a finger through while still being plenty soft.
Thankfully no issues with Yodel.

Review of nixit

First time trailing a ‘cup/disk’ and it works!

Reviewing as someone who has never braved a cup and has never got on with tampons.
I’ve used Nixit across 3 cycles gradually increasing how long I wore and on the 3rd cycle away from the house for around 9hours.
Insertion takes some practice but there is lots of advice on the site and when I asked for some support via FB messenger the response time was excellent.
I fully recommend using a little water based lubricant as this makes it much easier for inserting.
During use I experienced no leakage or movement at all (I’ve had 2 babies naturally). It is comfortable and most of the time you can not feel it. When I cough or sneeze I can feel it- not painful but a little uncomfortable as it feels like it jabs you inside. Thankfully- I don’t cough or sneeze too often!
Removal is easier than inserting if you sit on the loo, bare down (which pops it out from behind your pelvic wall) then it’s quite easy to pull it out.
You do need a toilet with a sink close by so either time it so you can empty at home or in a disabled toilet.
Yes your fingers will get messy but this really does not bother me. A very small trade for effectively having ‘no period’ (except the pain!).
Overall:
pros:
- no leaks
- great for the environment
- no ‘suction’ which puts me off cups
- no movement/falling out
- feeling period free and not worrying about leaking/changing/smelling etc

Cons:
-price: beware UK buyers the £15 import fees
- carry bag is cotton, something wipe proof would have been more sensible
- I can’t imagine having sex would be comfortable but that is of personal preference!

I hope in the future there is more promotion of environmental products like this especially to young women so we can move away from single use and unreliable products.

Excellent customer service when asked for a refund

Unfortunately, the matress didn’t work out for us. But Leesa customer service was excellent and the mattress was collected and refund issued promptly and without quibble. Would recommend people try the mattress as it is genuinely risk free.
