Ordered a pair of boots in store
Ordered a pair of boots in store, paid for it, told it would be delivered 5-7 days by the shop assistant.
Waited patiently nothing by day 7.
Day 8 received an email to say my order was cancelled and due to the monies already having been taken, I would receive the money straight back into my account. No money received as outlined in their email to me.
Frustrated I went online to find a Customer Services Number, first time I called they answered then hung up on me. 2nd time calling I managed to speak to a representative, who proceeded to tell me that needed to go back to the shop I ordered them from for a refund !! when their email clearly states/stated I would receive an automatic refund into my account.
I was then informed that my nearest store was 10miles away, 10miles yes, but at least a 30minute drive there and a 30 minute drive back !
The Representative tried to help by offering to do a Bacs payment but that this could take 20 days to receive payment as it had to go to Finance for sign-off then onto the Director for authorisation!
● 8 days to tell me my order is cancelled.
● 33 days out of pocket.
● No response whatsoever to my 2
previous emails.
Poor Trading Standards, Customer Care has fallen well and truly below that expected of a reputable company.
Message to Directors: Get out of your offices, pull up your sleeves and work alongside your workers to sort this mess out.
I'm not alone in my complaints by reading the number of poor reviews left by customers.
Disappointed to say the least.
Please ensure my refund is returned to my bank account forthwith.
