Poor customer service
I visited the Chilwell store at 1.50pm, with three boys under 10 yrs wanting football ball boots. It was pure chaos, when I asked for service I was ‘fobbed’ off. When I was served by the 2nd member of staff who was clearly overwhelmed and close to tears, she then started dealing with another customer and disappeared. Other members of staff including manager appeared, but not to deal with customers. On querying this I was still not served. To cut a long story short, after speaking to 5 members of staff (going in different directions) - Sam (member of staff) took the time to deal with us efficiently and provide an excellent service. On my exit from the store at 2.40 pm, I spoke to the manager Gary to provide some feedback - wasted my time! Clearly not interested, and non-existent customer service skills. I just stopped him in mid-sentence, asked for his name and said I will be speaking with HO. I won’t even bother as I knowingly bought from a company who do not invest in their staff. Left the store ‘flabbergasted’, if I had my way I would have just got my money back, but didn’t want to upset the boys!! Lessons learnt ..
