I’ve been a customer for years and wrote a very favourable review back in 2021 but unfortunately can no longer recommend Charterhouse Aquatics. They routinely accept orders for out of stock goods and then make you wait several weeks for them to dispatch your order… There is zero communication from them unless you chase them for your order. Customer service give empty promises. I have lost all faith in them and have taken my business elsewhere.
Good quality, nice looking fish tank. Loses one star because delivery was promised for a weekend day but was then changed to the Monday at the last minute.
It's impossible to cancel your subscription online (you can only "pause" it for one month), there is no telephone number provided so you can't speak to anyone, and they do not reply to emails. I sent them an email a week ago saying I wanted to cancel my subscription and I am yet to hear back.
If you take any more money from me after I told you I wanted to cancel my subscription, I will be taking this further.

I am a returning customer and have placed at least ten orders in the last year. I have always had great service. Dispatch and delivery is quick. If I’ve had any issues, customer service have sorted it out immediately. I highly recommend Charterhouse Aquatics.
I signed up when I received an up to 50% off offer and cancelled after three deliveries. The deliveries were on time and there were no missing ingredients, but we did receive the wrong recipe card once. I found that the date on the meat was really short, sometimes only one or two days, which is not great when you have several meals to get through. Overall, the recipes I tried were ok; some were pretty good and some were lacking a bit in flavour. I do think that the service is extremely expensive if you are only buying meals for two people. If you go to the supermarket and spend the same money on the same ingredients, you would get twice the amount. I understand that HelloFresh has to make money on this, but to me it’s not worth the massive surcharge just to have the stuff delivered to my door. If the flavours were amazing, I would consider treating myself every so often, but none of the recipes I tried were good enough to actually be something to look forward to. I will be going back to my previous meal subscription provider because this allows me to be much more flexible with my meal planning, it will save me tons of money, and the flavours are really really good.

We work extremely hard with our suppliers and couriers to ensure all our produce is as fresh as possible when it is delivered to your door. This includes keeping the protein and dairy products wrapped in ice packs during transit and storing ingredients in our temperature-controlled facility before sending them out.

I was a subscriber for more than two years before I cancelled today. I love the flavours and simplicity, however over the last 6 months choice has been very poor and on top of this, they were routinely substituting my selected meat dishes with a vegetarian version. Customer service suggested I change my meal preference from low calorie to full range, which is equally unacceptable.

I apologise about the stock levels being low at the moment. Our operations team is trying their best to get the missing recipes back in stock, however due to covid-19, our supplier is working at a reduced capacity. This has impacted the delivery times, but we're hoping to get back to normal soon. We recommend our customers to select their next box closer to date of their shipment so the chances of selecting what is in stock are higher! I am sure this situation will get back to normal soon! I am really sorry about this and I hope that you will resubscribe with us!
I have purchased coral from FraggleReef three times now, and every time the items have been as described and have arrived in perfect condition. Before placing my most recent order I had a couple of questions, which the owner answered promptly. Very happy, will continue to use.

Bought a glass aquarium online. This was delivered, very well packaged, two days later. Really good value for money and very happy with purchase. Will use again.
Purchased two roller banners, using my own design. They were delivered within specified timelines and look great. Time will tell how durable they are, but for the money I'm really very pleased with the product.

T&M always get something wrong, to the point where I really don't want to buy anything from them if I can help it.
In April I purchased "6 lily bulbs - 1 of each variety - Lily 'Perfume Garden' Series". These have now flowered and as it turned out, they were all the same variety, not a mix at all. I also bought some "Diva" cucumber seeds, and two out of three plants produced both male and female flowers, despite supposedly being all female. Very disappointing.
