Faultless!

Faultless!
After a neighbours gate hit our car the insurance arranged for FMG to repair the cosmetic damage.
Excellent customer service from start to finish.
A special mention to John & Chris who collected and returned the vehicle, cheered us right up!!!!!! They really appreciated the cars name!
The office/clerical staff always really helpful and friendly.

All in all a 5* experience, would highly recommend! Remember folks you absolutely do get what you pay for with FMG!

My car was impaled at home by a flying gate , thankfully the damage was purely cosmetic however Matt the mechanic managed to separate the car from the gate and made it drivable once again.

Can’t thank him enough for his patience and humour!

Ordered and paid in full,
order No; 8637e025-ae91-48de-002e-0000001d9, immediately debited from my account. Responses saying item had been dispatched even received a tracking number , didn’t mean anything as it was fake!
They didn’t have the item, nor could they obtain the item.
Gleaning a response from customer service was extremely and unnecessarily protracted.
Told my payment was in “pending” not true, debited in full.
Had to threaten action using section 75, that got a response.
Repaid in full but it still took far too long.
Some people have said they received a great service but it’s clear that when it goes wrong with this company, it goes very wrong!
If you’re gonna use this company, use a credit card and have the necessary protection!
You’ve been warned!

Ordered specglam previously through my…

Ordered specglam previously through my opticians and they were pricey, wanted a second pair as they are truly statement pieces, specshop makes them affordable. Why not have 2 or 3 pairs at this price you can. Cost £149 through the optician and £40 with lenses with specshop!
Love them and received expediently with thanks.
I will definitely be ordering again.

AVOID

AVOID!
The pricing looks too good to be true….. that’s because it is!

The money taken on the 12th £57.20, no 48hr delivery as advised, its soap powder and fabric conditioner in bulk, nothing amazing!

Their responses are confusing…. Delays due to an Influx of orders, a fault in processes, a technical issue!

As of Monday I can raise a dispute with the bank using the VISA 15 day rule.
My advice, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Exceptional! Ordered on Monday evening arrived first thing Tuesday. Paid for next day but understood due to it being post 12.30 cut off wouldn’t receive until Wednesday, but I happily got it early the next day.

Ok so went for dinner and drinks before…

Ok so went for dinner and drinks before going out in the town, used the Leicester branch a lot a couple of years ago but thought we’d give it a go.
The 3* allocation is based on the service from Julia the waitress and David and Liz the bartenders. The drinks were amazing but the food…… not good. Can only be described as a sloppy mess.
Left a tip for the bar staff and had no issue stating this was for the drinks alone as they were great but the food crap!
Half the restaurant is now closed off and used for storage and a rather large freezer opposite the booths, the whole place used to have a real good funky vibe but that’s gone!
Feels like this location has suffered from lack of interest or investment.
Bill came to £211 so not a cheap poor experience for 3 people! Took our mate for his birthday and wish we’d gone elsewhere.
Pop in for a drink because a cocktail is all that’s great about it now.

Holiday paid in full on the 8th September, today LOVE holidays have taken a further £987 from my account as it appears when contacting them through chat as can’t call them they forgot to change the payment system!
Requested a call that will take 72 hours and 3-5 days to get the refund.
Reported them and had any further charges blocked but seriously this is farcical! It just gets worse! My payment details should have been removed once payment had been made in full!
Please please please reconsider your choice, if you’ve got an account and paid early ensure you get them blocked from removing any further funds!
I’m simply outraged! Not even an apology!

Ok so booked with love holidays as lots…

Ok so booked with love holidays as lots of us travelling, living all over the country not possible to group book. Selected single storey properties with disabled access due to 2 of the travellers needing. Even though we could pay over 5 months paid up in full 2 1/2 months in advance. 2 parties informed a few weeks after booking that our selected hotel was up for sale and the “supplier” couldn’t make contact with the hotel to secure the booking. Our party were not informed however I called the hotel and whilst it is on the market it’s being sold as a going concern and bookings all guaranteed! So not that difficult to make contact! No reaction to this from love holiday. The hotel they actually booked us into is currently closed for refurbishment and their Website says quite emphatically intended to be open October/ November, but they managed to make contact with them with no guarantee the refurb will be finished in time. Explained the “group” situation and the needs of all parties now bear in mind you can’t actually talk to anyone unless any issues are for imminent travel, it’s all by bot transferring you to an agent. We were all allocated high-rise hotels, none of which were adults only, none of which had disabled access rooms, needed to use lifts! Now in an emergency, say like a fire the first thing to shut down is the lift? One group advised on booking of their disability, our party didn’t but informed the airline and booked the assisted travel. Apparently you MUST tell Love holidays of any disabilities. We selected the hotel that met all of our needs so we didn’t have to disclose this information, it’s a personal choice right? Wrong!
One group allocated a like for like, the other 2 parties high-rise monstrosities, accommodation is a personal choice and to us these larger hotels are geared for families with all the entertainment etc which we avoid, not knocking it for those that like it but we prefer smaller intimate complexes.
With love holidays they “love” to ignore your wishes and do whatever they want, there’s no compassion or understanding they just refer to policies and forget you’ve just paid them over £4000 for a Christmas holiday! 2 parties cancelled the accommodation part of the booking as they wouldn’t allow us to cancel the flights, and refunded quite expeditiously I have to say, and the 2 parties booked our original hotel direct and they upgraded us when we explained the issues with LOVE holidays!
We travel to Gran Canaria 5 times a year and all 7 travellers are so appalled by the lack of concern or customer service that we will NEVER use them again!
If you LOVE your holidays as we do and select a hotel because it meets your individual needs you MUST inform this company of every detail, medical or otherwise prior to agreeing to terms or this company will destroy your plans and put the blame solely on you as the paying customer for their inefficiencies.
If you LOVE to holiday then don’t book with them! If you are happy to stay in inferior accommodation basically a concrete housing estate then book away!
This has put us off ever using a holiday company and will continue to book direct with airline and hotel without using an inadequate incompetent third party!
They responded to this via out email and said they’d look into our issues, they have and the final response is noted below.
As inadequate and as soulless as anticipated. There really isn’t any recourse from this company. Be warned!

Easy to use but there are issues

Easy to use, sadly added luggage to trip made payment and when checking this hadn’t been added so had to Log into Ryanair app and add, another £359, but it’s done.
What should be noted when booking with love holidays and using Ryanair if you haven’t already got the app and signup then it can be a little complicated and drawn out. I have the app etc but my friend who booked at the same time didn’t and it resulted in him having to register within a limited time due to third party ie love holidays using his payment.
So make sure you have the airlines app for what ever airline they book you on prior to booking.
