Brilliant Service

Brilliant Service – Over the Moon with My New Sofa!

Just had my sofa delivered by SGK Distribution and I couldn’t be happier. The two delivery guys were absolutely amazing – polite, professional, and super efficient. They unpacked everything carefully and made sure it was all set up perfectly before leaving. The sofa itself is brilliant – great quality and exactly what I was hoping for.

It’s so refreshing to have such a smooth and positive delivery experience. Thank you, SGK – top marks all round! Garry and Joben were fantastic xx

Five Star Review: Outstanding Customer Service from Stephen - Southern Rail

On October 4th, 2024, I was on the 19:12 train from Shoreham-by-Sea to London when I was followed by a masked individual who when I ran towards the guard the masked man locked himself in the toilet. In my absolute distress, Stephen, the train guard, went above and beyond in ensuring my safety. He stopped the train at the next station and had British Transport Police remove the man from the train, he was carrying a knife

Stephen’s care didn’t stop there—he contacted my friend, who was meeting me in London, to explain the situation, and he sat with me all the way to my destination, calming me down and making sure I was okay. His actions were simply outstanding, and I cannot praise him enough for his professionalism, empathy, and customer service. Southern Rail should be proud to have someone like Stephen on their team.

Thank you, Stephen, for turning a terrifying experience into one where I felt supported and safe.

Heart breaking Experience with New Priory Vets, Brighton

I am absolutely devastated and disgusted by the way New Priory Vets has handled the passing of my beloved cat, Holly. After paying for an individual cremation on the day of her passing, I was reassured that Holly would be cremated with care and that I would be contacted when her ashes were ready. Three weeks later, I received an email stating Holly was still at their facility, un cremated, and being offered cremation options again—despite me having already made all arrangements and paid for it.

This kind of negligence is not only unprofessional but deeply hurtful. To know that my poor cat has been lying there for weeks due to their mishandling is beyond heart breaking. I have received vague and automated responses to my follow-ups, offering no real accountability or resolution, and their so-called "management" response is a joke—claiming it could take 14-30 days to address this.

I have lost all trust in New Priory Vets and would advise anyone considering their services to think twice. This has caused me unimaginable emotional distress during an already difficult time. I sincerely hope no other pet owner has to go through what I’ve experienced.

Sort this out immediately.

Halfords misleading advertising of their services

Halfords - Shoreham by Sea Another Shocking experience this morning - if you look on line Halfords now offer Filter cleaning - so I turn up and the guy on reception is too busy playing on his computer and then says - someone else will be out shortly, they must have heard the door - so I wait another 5 mintues and can be bothered so go home and call them - and they say this - well we do offer it but if im honest you need a specialist and there is one locally but cant remeber their name sorry! What is wrong with people these days

Shoreham by Sea - They book my car in for a service and MOT and then when I arrive they cant do the service as they dont have to correct tools and becuase it needs a filter clean they would fail the MOT - Why offer this service - absolutely shocking service - never use them again

do not purchase a gift voucher

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding a £50 gift voucher that was given to me as a birthday gift in February of this year.
Regrettably, I have been facing a persistent issue with the voucher for the past seven months. Despite numerous attempts to utilise it, I have encountered nothing but frustration and inconvenience. I would like to provide a summary of the ongoing problems I have faced:
Online Usage: When I initially attempted to use the gift voucher online, I encountered an error message stating that the voucher was invalid. This was the first instance of disappointment, as it prevented me from enjoying the benefits of my generous gift.
Contacting Customer Services: In response to the online issue, I promptly contacted Molton Brown's customer services. After explaining the situation, I was assured that the voucher had been activated and should work without any problems. However, subsequent attempts to use it online proved futile.
In-Store Attempt: Following further frustration, I visited the Molton Brown store in Brighton with high hopes of finally being able to redeem my gift voucher. To my great embarrassment and disappointment, I was informed at the cashier's desk that the voucher was neither valid nor recognised in front of several other customers.
Continued Customer Services Communication: I reached out to customer services once again, seeking a solution to this persisting issue. Despite my patience and numerous efforts, I received nothing but apologies and assurances. The most recent response I received was that there is no known solution, and I should continue to contact customer services.
Unpleasant Phone Call: Just prior to sending this email, I made one last attempt to resolve the issue by calling Molton Brown customer services. Unfortunately, the supervisor I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. To my surprise and disappointment, they abruptly ended the phone call, leaving me with no option but to send this email.
I find this situation completely unacceptable and deeply frustrating. The inability to resolve this matter over an extended period of seven months is not only inconvenient but also reflects poorly on Molton Brown's customer service and its voucher management systems.
I kindly request that Molton Brown takes immediate action to rectify this issue. As a loyal customer, I believe that it is only fair that I receive the full value of the gift voucher I was given. Additionally, I would appreciate a more comprehensive and effective solution to prevent such issues from occurring in the future.
I trust that Molton Brown, as a reputable company known for its exceptional products and customer service, will address this matter promptly and provide a satisfactory resolution. I value my continued relationship with Molton Brown and hope to see a swift and positive response to this complaint.

Audi Beckenham - Steer clear and read below

Audi SouthEast London, “flagship branch” Do not buy a car from them - my Friend brought a car four months ago - it has been back 3 times and they have had the car in their garage for over two months in total - the fault in the car is a safety issue and to coin their phrase “not fit for purpose.” After lengthly, very frustrating calls, emails, letters, meetings they will allow him to swap the car but only if he is prepared to lose 2k “in Depreciation” He now has no car, no resolution and frankly we have had to contact the MD of Audi to intervene and find a solution - This saga is still continuing- the sales managers at Beckenham are just not interested and the attitudes from purchasing the car to now are like night and day! Their customer services are dire and it takes them days to return calls - The general sales manager did not even attend the meeting we organised with them.
Once you have brought your car, do not expect any after sale service as it is non existent and they really do not care - it’s a total sham!!

Amazon are positively discriminating…

Amazon are positively discriminating against disabled people - today their driver refused to leave a parcel as the receiver who is disabled and cannot walk was on the sofa, the door was open and her daughter gave her ID (she is 20) - The driver was rude and said it wasnt her ID - She then pointed to her mum on the sofa who said she wasnt able to get up without help because of her disability and the driver just took the goods walked off telling them he didnt believe them - Dispicable - trying to communicate this to Amazon was unreal and now I have just cancelled all my accounts and would rather use any other service than theirs...unreal - they just do not care...

Terrible On Line Services - No resolution to issues or problems

I have had the worst experience ever...
So, I pay for a next day delivery - an order more than £500 and without going into chapter and verse ( the saga is far too long ) despite customer services saying all the right things – they did nothing. I asked for a manger or a supervisor to call me, simply that the customer services people were not authorised to make the decisions. The phone was put down twice 'connection error' not once did they attempt to call me back. 6 days later, no goods, the goods are at some random shop miles from where I live; they have not been collected as promised by the White Company nor have they been refunded - both above have been promised and guess what ? they now want me to collect the goods, then if I don’t want them send them back and then they will raise a credit - I am still waiting for a manger to call - I am still waiting for a resolution and whilst I have always used them and placed a lot of high value orders - absolutely no way would I deal with them again as when there is an issue, it isn’t resolved and in my experience, they actually do not care! I have spent an inordinate amount of time chasing this up – Please remember it’s the White Company that had set the expectations and service levels, they did not deliver, they have not followed up as they should of, all the customer service staff I spoke to said they would call me back and I did not receive one call.

Unbelievably terrible service – there is no follow through to problems and it is ridiculous that they try to be the ‘elite’ high street store, when frankly, as soon as there is an issue – the real White Company appear. If you must buy their stuff, buy from John Lewis or another reputable distributor, at least they will have a decent Customer services team

Do not use

Do not use - I ordered some glass and arranged for them to measure up for new windows at the same time as delivering the glass - the glass was incorrect - the guys that delivered it said they get it wrong all the time, they said they are always having to go back and correct errors - anyway, they did not apologise - called me three days later, blamed me and wanted to charge another 600 for the replacement glass - I the spoke to the MD Lee who said, this isn’t their main line of work, it’s just side-line - offered no solution at all - not even an apology - when I told him about his staff comments and that given my experience all my new stuff I will go elsewhere - he just said he can understand that - so all in all if the MD don’t care, what chance have you got? I suggest you go to a professional firm
