Is Skrill really a competitor to PayPal?
- Seeing the overall ratings for Skrill i have to say that my experience with them has been different to say the least. Skrill has exploded in the recent years, establishing itself as a worthy competitor to paypal, so i decided to give them a try.
- I deposided 70$ using my mastercard and specifically deposited for non gambling purposes. What followed angered me and shocked me on a level i never thought possible. Wherever i tried to use Skrill and use that 70$ i was denied, time after time. I couldn't use my money on anything, steam, online shops, g2a, clothing stores, you name it i tried everything.
- So after another day of fighting to find a way to use my money i ended up contacting support which btw is not existent.
-I decided to request my money back.
Which btw if you include the deposit fees , the withdraw to your bank account fees and the money exchange fees ended up being 12$.
Long story short my experience on this site is as follows.
I put 70$ in my balance > i am not able to use them > i ask for my money back > i receive 58$
