Patisserie Valerie Cake Left Outside in the Rain!!!!

Parcel was a birthday cake from Patisserie Valerie which was meant to be delivered in the afternoon with the provided time slot.

As time passes, no doorbell rang. My mother came back from the supermarket to tell me there’s a large box outside. We live in a flat, where’s theres 4 other flat owners/tenants and a communal front door leading to a very busy main road in central London.

I then checked the parcel and it’s the cake, it has been outside of the main door for 40 mins, in eyes view to the public to see and I’m surprised it wasn’t stolen.

I understand there’s covid/safety protocols but if your couriers can’t be bothered to do their job then get someone who will. How hard is it to press a single bell? If my mother didn’t go out and came back when she did, God knows how long the cake would of been left outside in the rain for?

Key priority (BIG HINT) press the doorbell! I shouldn’t be going online to check the status of the delivery if there’s a provided time slot! What a butch of useless *beeep.

If DPD ever goes into administration (and I hope it does due to the lack of customer focus), I wouldn’t be mad about it at all! In addition, all the so-called positive reviews are fake, BEWARE!!!

Arrogant Social Media Manager

Made several purchases throughout the years and love seeing the Offspring HQ Community grow is amazing.

But the issue is there seem to be a lot of resellers putting Offsping stock online even with competitions/raffles to prevent that. Seems odd?

I’ve lost faith as there several times I’ve seen the same winners get several exclusive pairs at their store at once.

Overall, it’s not what you can do (show loyalty) to the retailer but the person who does the their Instagram is a arrogant sod who thinks he’s above everyone and seems to be extremely rude, probably neglected as a kid?

Hey Stevie

Ah the old conspiracy theories when it comes to stock. We try our best to get the stock to genuine fans, nothing more and definitely nothing odd as you suggest. That stock might get sold on but we can’t stop that from happening. If we’re ever made aware, we’ll make sure that person doesn’t get backdoored, I mean picked, for any other raffles going forward.

Do some people win more than 1 item? Of course they do. These are people who get involved and show how much they love the product. Why wouldn’t we give them the chance to purchase? There is always new people winning though or people that haven’t won for a long time.

We appreciate that jealousy can make people really salty so we’ll put that down to your comments at the end of your review.

In all seriousness though, we’re just trying to keep a good thing going. You might not always agree but we hope you stick with us and keep your sneaker love alive.

Thanks

Review of Housing Ombudsman

Don't bother using them, USELESS!!!

Don't bother using them, they are a waste of time, will only reply once and no further updates or communication will be provided over the months/years.

The housing ombudsman tends to be in favour of the Housing Association (as everyone highlights here) or any governing body it is meant to help ensure are fulfilling their duties.

I have been dealing with them for over a year and not one reply since or updates.

They are as useless as the people tenants are complaining about!

Notting Hill Genesis is manipulating…

Notting Hill Genesis is manipulating their reviews by having several Notting Hill Genesis profiles, PLEASE DUPLICATE ALL REVIEWS TO ALL NHG PROFILES so other members of the public are warned!!! To NHG, who is playing dumb, you can type in Notting Hill Genesis in the search bar and several NHG companies are listed, coincidence?

Good to know John from NHG isn't manipulating the reviews, it just shows you how bad they are!!!

You file a report-no answer, you call-no answer, you send an email no answer. By the time you get someone over to review repair issues, guess what? You’re chasing up, wasting more time and a simple repair becomes a nightmare!

Beware, avoid like the plague and if you’re going to buy, ask for a fire report! You’ll be amazed.

The company is run by complete scums.

The company is run by complete scums and heartless people.

They don't care about anything, NHG staff do their bare minimum of work and if they could, they will do nothing at all or when they do, they will most likely to make things worst. For example, send contractors to fix a wall but exam the wrong side of the wall and conclude it is fixed on their repair system.

When NHG brings their unqualified surveyors and incompetent housing officers, that's when the real fun starts. They don't do their homework before visiting the premises to understand the faults and then blags their way by saying they will do x and y but nothing gets done unless you chase them which can take months or years.

Avoid at all-cause unless you want to go through depression, anxiety, and stress. Because they don't care and get paid for doing nothing and if someone dies, we're just a number. Look at Grenfell, killers.

Review of Reiss

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Over price products for a water down premium brand that once was!

I used to love Reiss clothing from the build quality, long lasting durability to the design, especially for the men’s coats/jackets.

However, that all changed on my recent purchase online for an Camelot Navy jacket, which was on sale from £360 to £180, great right?

Got the goods delivered to the store in Westfield London. Note, I haven’t purchase at Reiss for over a year or two and I’ve notice the store to be extremely messy but it’s the sales period so maybe a one off? The till area was a bomb and had clear empty clothing bags everywhere and was a utter chaotic mess, the level of customer service was extremely disappointing and to top it off, workers wear fake Patek watches to impress the younger gualable crowd of females than get paid for what they should be focusing on...the customer!

Back to the jacket, the jacket was delivered in a cheap plastics Reiss handle bag which was odd as my last order was in a hard white presentation Reiss box, beautifully presented and this felt oddly cheap for a premium high street brand? Open the packaging and the jacket was so thin that I would consider it as thin as a under shirt vest, rather than a winter over coat and to have a rrp from £360 to £180 is complete joke. It felt more of a quality purchased from Primark and I would consider it to have a build quality of £29.99 max...I’m trying to think of a lower, cheap brand but Primark will have to do for now.

Overall, very disappointed with the quality, service and the cutting corners of products quality was a shock. This is not the reknown premium brand that once was and seems extremely watered down.

After reading of the refund process reviews for online, this will be an interesting experience for sure and you have officially lost a loyal customer.

Notting Hill Genocide (Genesis)

Useless is an understatement!

I have been highlighting urgent repairs since 2015 and have been going through hoops to get repairs sorted, repairs have either been scheduled but have been pushed back last minute due to unforeseen circumstances (which is all the time).

I even went through escalating the issue after 2 years of hell, there has been no progress, which is extremely frustrating as the housing officer and manager are completely incompetent as one another. I like to refer them as The Chuckle Brothers (to me, to you).

They have the nerve to offer me compensation of £350 for the hassle over the 3+ years. I have quit my job due to the daily stress, and anxiety caused. Though I understand £350 is a lot of money for some, £350 is not worth the pain for anyone to go through as this is their way to buy more time and for the housing association to shut you up.

The level of neglect, negligence, dishonest employees from all levels and is way below any industry standard and is completely shocking. You get faster service from Mc Donalds than from Notting Hill Genesis. The fact the workers have titles with the manager in them is completely false, they can't even manage to prioritise a single urgent repair.

I wouldn't be surprised if Notting Hill Genesis has caused fatalities under their management due to the level of neglect/negligence seems to get worst. Which is most likely to be true.

I don't know how you can smile and live as if there is nothing wrong? You're tampering with people lively hood and a home is a place of comfort relaxation and belonging with family. You have taken that away and made it a living hell on earth.

May God protect us all.

Review of American Express Global

British Airways Platinum Reward Card - 2-for-1 travel with a Companion Voucher SCAM!!!!!

So if you spend £10k annually on the card, you'll get a 2-for-1 travel with a Companion Voucher which enables you and a lucky guest to travel with you on the same flight/cabin for free, perfect.

The downside, recently I have several transactions on pending which will make me exceed the £10k annual pending target, however, there is currently £60+ worth of transactions pending but the £63 transaction was posted on pending 48 hours later from the original purchase date? Guess who just lost out?

Got in contact with the customer service rep and has informed me that I am 80p short off target, I repeat 80p short and the pending transactions are pending and cannot be added to the target of £10k as they have not been cleared. Really?

As a result, I did not qualify for the 2-for-1 travel with a Companion Voucher and this has left a very bad taste in my mouth to argue over 80p when spending literally over £10k.

Is this a fault on the customer side or bad customer service? Overall, very shocked and disappointed with American Express lack of customer service provided. Bloody penny pinchers!

I will certainly pay off the card, cancel immediately and look for alternative.

Future customers BEWARE!

Review of Sneakersnstuff

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

AVOID-FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!

-Won a pair sneaker from a raffle.
-Product page highlights free shipping for orders over £100 and product cost £159.
-Received an email from PayPal that a charge of £166 was issued by SNS.
-Highlighted to SNS of the £166 charge via PayPal and they said nothing is wrong as the additional delivery charge was added and that I (customer) have agreed to the terms and cost when entering for the raffle?

Raffle terms-

"If you choose Online:
If you win you will get another email and we will charge you for the items and relevant shipping cost.
If your bank declines the attempted payment we will not be able to select you as a winner.
You will get another email when the items are shipped.

If you choose a store location:
All winners must pick up and pay for their items in-store at the selected store.
The pick-up period starts on 7th July 2018.
ID matching the information provided must be shown when picking up your items.
Payment information as part of the raffle process is required to stop duplicate entries. You will not be charged. You will pay for the items when you pick them up.
Winners will only be able to pick up their items at the pickup location selected."

1-no communication was agreed in regards to additional costs prior to PayPal payment besides the £159 price shown on the product page. Yet charge me £166!

2-the terms highlight customer will be charged for the item and relevant shipping cost, which I assumed was free as stated the product page for orders over £100 will get free shipping, product costs £159 so it's free, right? Yet charge me £166!

I mean, if SNS wants, they could charge me additional £100 on top of £159 (product price), not tell me and say oh you agreed to the terms of the raffle, therefore it's ok?? GTFO.

Overall very misleading, how do I know the sales reps are not banking the additional funds? As mention to the customer service rep, this is false advertising and they should not have FREE SHIPPING for over £100 stated on the product page if they are not honoring it.

It's not about the additional £7, it's the principle knowing that a company has your card details and would charge extra without informing the cardholder and assumed it's ok?

I will not use SNS again as the level customer focus is not relevant and a formal complaint has been sent to Trading Standards.

Thank you, come again......NOT!
