Not even worth one star

Not even worth one star. Booked a few days to fuerteventura for January 18th to 22nd with hotel. Ryanair changed the flight to… wait for it… 19th to 19th January so that we could fly to fuerteventura, keep sitting in our seats, then fly straight back. Idiots.

Miserable

Miserable, unhelpful manager - I took back a deWalt drill/driver where the chuck had broken. It was within the 12 month guarantee but Andy told me to “send it back to deWalt” because he wasn’t going to resolve the issue as I may have “abused it, who knows?”
Not a smile, not any attempt to resolve the issue.

No customer service

Fox and Sons Mutley Plymouth have been chasing us to value and market our property for several months. They came along a few days ago, promising to “work on a valuation” that same afternoon, but not a peep out of them since. Very disappointing considering the number of times they rang to arrange a viewing!

A very kind and thoughtful company

I put the wrong house number, the flowers were returned - all completely my fault - and yet the lovely people at Bloom and Wild were kind enough to resend. I’ve loved sending AND receiving from them for several year, and it’s these acts of kindness on their part that will keep me returning

Faked auction bids

Where do I start? They valued our land badly, too short staffed to do anything professionally, didn't even pass on a really good pre-auction offer, uploaded fake bids up to the reserve, forgot to upload the documents in the legal pack and missed the all important Transfer which the buyer then refused to sign. Complete farce and it's probably immoral at best to have two Stags people pretending to bid against each other up to the reserve. Wouldn't touch with a barge pole

Armchair arrived with wrong fabric and…

Armchair arrived with wrong fabric and two holes in the front. Call centre, Indian I think, said they don’t do refunds (which is illegal to state) and offered someone to come along on a “service visit” in two weeks, with a view to mending it. I was expected to take a day off work for this “service visit”. Went into store but all managers are away so nobody to help. This is ruining Christmas as what am I supposed to do with a damaged armchair? Really shoddy service considering a refund is my right by law. No offer of anything more than a service visit on 22nd December, and if I didn’t like that it would be 29th. DFS you are required BY LAW to offer a refund on goods that arrive damaged! Why have you not immediately offered to replace the chair seeing as you have photos of the damage provided within two hours of delivery, in person in the store?
I hope I don’t get the generic “ Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, your feedback is greatly appreciated and we are very sorry for the experience you have had with DFS.”
Update: as expected the bog standard reply arrived suggesting I rang the Indian call centre which does nothing useful to resolve the issue. What a disappointment…

Immoral, Inefficient and Uncaring...

Immoral, Inefficient and Uncaring...
Couldn't be bothered to tag our bag because they were "too busy" at the airport, then lost the bag so it didn't fly with us. We had to buy emergency clothes, toiletries etc. They refused to give us any compensation. Absolutely disgusting service, will never use them again.
