On the whole a good experience

On the whole a good experience, slightly let down as I had to go back to the branch to chase up my payment. It turns out that a random memory module was marked as "Red" in the mobicheck platform and the support assistant told me it was because the mobile device was blocked, which was impossible as it was computer memory and not a phone. However once, this was sorted, the branch sent payment which was received within 2 days.

Went to the Bath store with 3 items

Went to the Bath store with 3 items, including a factory sealed Apple TV. The items were booked in and I was promised the money either the next day or the day following.

I waited 2 days and the money was not forthcoming, so I went back to the store, only to be told that the sale was not processed as they could not test the FACTORY SEALED Apple TV as they could not open the seal.

This was not explained to me and as such, I wasted a lunch hour going back to the store to sort out the mess.

I opened the sealed box and the money was in my account the following morning. As the Apple TV was factory sealed, in as new condition (the same as if I bought a brand new one from the Apple Store), it stands to reason it is in mint condition and therefore does not need testing.

Not a great experience.

That's true, we need to test all products brought to the store for sale before they are traded in regardless of the condition (sealed or unpacked).
