Very poor service

Absolutely shocking service.
We were approached via Facebook by Russel to install our Starlink internet dish on the chimney. Wanted money upfront. First installation date the installer turned up late and said he cannot do the job. Since then multiple appointments have been made and nobody turns up or excuses are made. So glad we never paid upfront.

In response to the feedback from com-tel. I actually sent them a photo of the chimney prior to installation, so they were aware of the location and the installer said they forgot. and rebooked for the following weekend. Following week arrived and I had to message them to see what time they would be arriving. To be told the chimney strap had not arrived so cannot install. Shayne the installer then sent me a message to say Russ or Shayne will be in touch Monday. A new date was arranged for the 8th July. Surprise surprise nobody arrived on the day. Shayne messaged on the Monday 10th July saying sorry for the mixup he had it booked for the 15th. He can still do the 15th or the 14th. I sent a message back saying 14th is ok after 14:15 as at work. No reply until the 14th when Shayne states is tomorrow ok, Yes i said after 12pm, but will be windy. No reply until the Saturday 15th. stating wind will be a problem, can you do a day in the week. I state yes Monday Wednesday or Thursday. Guess what, not a single reply since. I have all the messages so can provide anything that is required. What a load of lies his feedback is.

Thank you for taking the time to supply feedback Mr Jackson. I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience.

For the avoidance of doubt, it should be made clear that our engineer was unable to complete your installation at the first time of asking due to the restricted access he had to the chimney, something which you had neglected to tell us. This meant that we had to acquire extra equipment and specialist health and safety tools before attempting to install the starlink dish. Had you accepted the advice of the engineer and let us install it at one of the other 4 or 5 locations identified, you would have been up and running the same day.

I dispute that we have failed to turn up as all of our visits are diarised are recorded. We have tried our best to fit you in alongside our current commitments but have been unable to find a mutually agreeable time.

It is common practise for customers to pay for goods and services at the time of ordering but was happy for you to pay at the time of installation. Your invoice remains outstanding so I have therefore made the decision to cancel it and will not be sending any more installers to your address.

I wish you luck in finding another installer and respectfully request that you tell them it is a non standard installation and the safety concerns surrounding the access to your chimney.

Vertu

Vertu Seat manager at Derby was quite rude when we enquired about the time scales of our Seat Cupra, he could not find our contract, then asked why we were bothering him as this was not his job, he said he would find out and get one of his colleagues to contact us, but that never happened. Eventually we were then contacted by Fitz who restored some faith.
