Suspected scam

I was offered £60 for a samsung galaxy note 9. Pretty gd I thought, so i accepted and sent the phone off once the envelope arrived. A few days later I received an email the usual bumph and towards the bottom it said, not good new lcd needed a d I was given a new offer of £5. I rejected and my phone was returned. The edge of the screen was no broken slightly with a hairline crack that spread across the screen. There was no crack when I sent it and it was also in bubble wrap, so how did that happen I ask myself? I suspect a con where a gd offer is made, you're then advised of damage and a lesser amount is offered. If not accepted,t then he phone comes back damaged. I wonder how many people have been caught out and just decide to accept as they either can't be bothered or they need the money. Would rather just throw it away myself.

Review of Airport Parking-bristol

Expensive

When holidaying I tend to fly from Bristol more often than not.

The last few times I've parked in the multi storey, which is easy and very convenient. Previously and not that long ago I was paying about £80, this year £120, but I've just booked for next year at a cost of £213 and that apparently was with 15% off. Absolutely mad prices and I guess from now on I will be looking to fly from my local airport instead.

Refund on delivery charge query

Placed 2 x separate order within an hr of each other totalling about £800.

I would have ordered all together but initially I could not find one if the items I was looking g for until after the 1st order was placed.

Anyway I queried a refund of the delivery fee as this was being offered on orders of over £500. The company could have declined arguing I placed two separate orders but instead they were happy to oblige, which I think was the right answer.

My query was dealt with and resolved by Keeley Smith who was polite and professional.

Review of UPS UK

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Unbelievably Poor service, shame you can't give minus stars

Although I appreciate the benefit of reviews I rarely give one unless I have received a really good service or a really poor service. In this case the trend follows and the latter applies. The service I experienced was unbelievably crap, so much so that when ordering on-line in future I intend to ask who the courier will before ordering. If I am told UPS, I will go and purchase an alternative, ensuring I inform the company why I have gone elsewhere.

In short I am replacing my bathroom, I ordered a hand made vanity unit and mirror, solid wood decent quality etc about two and half months ago, there was supposedly about a four week turnaround.

Amy way, item dispatched, tracking number received. Tracking is completely inaccurate. A couple of times I had scheduled deliveries when it was still in London, then nothing for a few days, so you call them up, (incidentally based in Lithuania, which is fact as I asked when speaking to one of them) , only to be advised the package can't be located, so it is marked as an exception, and I need to tell the seller to notify them, as even though it's mine as I have bought it they won't discuss matters with you.

Anyway it was never found and they couldn't tell me anything. What i'd like to know is how do you lose a 30kg package, that gets scanned in and out of every location? why is customer service in Lithuania? what can anyone do for you there other than to listen to customers complain. You ask for a number for the local storage / dispatch facility only to be told they don't have phones that take in-coming calls, well that's a lie as I ended up going in to see them recently and I acquired their phone number whilst there. When I advised what I was told the chap I spoke to said, we deliver 5000 packages a day and asked if I could imagine what it would be like if all those customers called in, to which I replied if you delivered peoples packages on time there would be no need to call.

Another issue is that they wont change delivery address until they have at least tried to deliver to the 1st address they have been given at least once. What on earth is that all about? when my package was eventually in a position to be delivered, after my hand made item was remade, they insisted on sending it to the original address, even after I advised no one would be there. Why on earth would you try to deliver a package to an address where a signature is needed after you have been told no one will be in. What a waste of time resources and unnecessary damage to the environment.

Anyway, after the failed delivery, I was able to change delivery address, instead however, I decided to take the 30 mile round trip to collect and arranged this through their call centre, (in Lithuania again). So I turn up, the staff members goes and checks, comes back and says I'm ever so sorry, we did receive the hold for collection advice but the lorry driver put it back on the conveyor belt and it is now in transit back to Tamworth, Birmingham, sorry. I asked why on earth would it have moved from their location, to which the response was the person dealing didn't look at the postcode. well I was raging and despite my best efforts they wouldn't instruct the van to return, ultimately my item was received today, 3 weeks late.

Use them, don't use hem, not my concern really, just don't say you haven't been warned. I know I will never ever use them.

Crap, crap and totally crap
