Don’t book a fit to fly with them
Short: don’t book a test Eurofins if you really need it on time!!
Long: I needed a fit to fly test and ordered the 40£ home test Kit. However, after ordering a fit to fly test and I received a confirmation for the arrival tests instead that takes 48h instead of 24h to get the result!
I cancelled the entire booking and asked for a refund. However, because the eurofins team confirmed that everything will be fine and the package already arrived, I decided to proceed despite having a very bad feeling.
However, on Sunday - 72 hours before my departure - I wanted to do the test. I scanned the QR code on their information letter … nothing. The link brought me to a private Youtube video instead of the explanation video. I downloaded the required app TrustOne to login with the password Eurofins sent in their email. Nothing. The system didn’t find me. I tried to register… but the system brought me to another page where I had to say that I fly to or from the UK. I clicked there… but instead of being able to register I could only order a new test! I tried to call the eurofins hotline mentioned on the invoice… they kicked me out immediately. Then I read on their Kit instruction that I must not post the sample between 4pm on a Friday and 9am on a Monday… But I fly on a Wednesday - as I mentioned im my email to them and they confirmed that it wouldn’t be a problem - and therefore would need to send it on Sunday, in order to have a result for my flight on Wednesday, 9.35.
Conclusion: A total disappointment that lead me to immediately book an emergency in clinic PCR test with another company!
Now I’m fighting to get my money back! It’s absurd. Don’t trust these guys. They are cheap but you can’t be sure to get your fit to fly on time
