Excellent customer service, they were very helpful of letting me know where the goods I went in to buy were also. It’s nice when shop assistants are friendly and helpful rather than the ifs it not out we dont have it attitude..

AVOID .. LASTMINUTE & GOLDCAR CAR HIRE
BOOKED ALICANTE FLIGHTS AND CAR HIRE - ALL I GOT BY EMAIL FROM LASTMINUTE WAS YELLOW ATOL CERTIFICATE - CALLED BEFORE LEAVING TO GET CAR HIRE CERTIFICATE - DID NOT SAY I HAD TO CHECK IN ON LINE 24HRS BEFORE FLYING WITH RYAN AIR SO I HAD TO PAY £110 AT THE CHECK IN TO BE ABLE TO FLY.
GOT TO ALICANTE AIRPORT - 2HRS TO GET GOLDCAR HIRE CAR! TRIED TO CHARGE ME MORE TO UPGRADE CAR EXTRA INSURANCE ETC ETC, AIRPORT CLOSED ON RETURN SO HAD TO TAKE TO NEAREST GOLDCAR BRANCH, CHARGED £60 FOR THIS, THEN GOT HOME TO FIND A MONTH LATER CHARGED £350 ON MY CREDIT CARD BY GOLDCAR WITH NO NOTICE AND NO EXPLANATION AND OF COURSE NO ONE TO SPEAK TO TO EVEN TRY AND GET ANY EXPLANATION, HAVE PHOTOS OF CAR BEFORE AND AFTER - NO DAMAGE - LASTMINUTE NOT INTERESTED AND NO HELP WHATSOEVER. I THOUGHT WHEN YOU USED AN AGENT THEY ACTED ON YOUR BEHALF AND DID THE LEGWORK FOR YOU BUT THESE GUYS DO NOT.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - SIMPLY ATROCIOUS - ALICANTE
After a 2 hr wait, girl at desk was really rude and unhelpful, insisted I had to pay more and upgrade as no small cars were available, then after i said id hire from another company as i only like small cars, there was one available, then she said she was going to refuse to give me the car, i asked why, she walked off, came back typed on keyboard, said or explained nothing, made me sign and finally gave me keys. She was small in height, mousy brown hair, scraped back, ear ring holes in hear ears, i asked the girl for her name and she refused to give it and turned her badge around. 2.5 hrs to pick up hire car is unacceptable, unless of course you pay 50/60 euros to jump the que. We usually always use sixt, no ques, nice friendly helpful staff and only takes 5-10 mins to get the car and get on your way. Most disappointed
+ 70 euro fee for drop off at another depot as airport closed
then a £350 charge on my credit card when we got home ..

ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH -
I CALLED AND REQUESTED DISCONNECTION AFTER BEING IN HOSPITAL WITH HEART FAILURE AND NOT ABLE TO GO HOME - THIS WAS THE END OF MARCH 2019 AFTER BEING PUT THROUGH TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT PEOPLE I GOT CUT OFF AND HAD TO CALL BACK 3 TIMES, FINALLY THEY SAID 30 DAYS NOTICE AND FINAL PAYMENT OF A MONTH AS WELL.
2 MONTHS LATER STILL NOT DISCONNECTED - STILL BILLING ME - TRIED CANCELLING DD ONLY TO GET A £12 LATE PAYMENT CHARGE!!
SAME ALL OVER AGAIN CALLING THEM & BEING CUT OFF AND GOING OVER AND OVER THE SAME DETAILS WITH 3 DIFFERENT CALL HANDLERS - PROMISED DISCONNECTION AND REFUND OF 2 MONTHS - NOTHING ..
ITS NOW OCTOBER AND STILL NO DISCONNECTION - TRYING TO TELL ME THE PHONE IS BEING USED - SO NO REFUND - THERES NO ONE OR NOTHING IN THE HOUSE SO NO ONE CAN BE MAKING CALLS .... ANY EXCUSE .. IVE STILL NO REFUND OF 7 MONTHS OVER PAYMENTS ....
THE CALL CENTRES IN THE PHILIPPINES ARE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE AS WELL AS THEIR ON LINE CHAT OR EMAIL
IVE NEVER HAD SUCH AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE .. AVOID ..
