Just realize they are a huge company out to help themselves at the expense of the individual owners and you the renter. They do everything possible to ensure that directly contacting owners without them is nigh impossible. They charge fees that do not go to the owners. If you can succeed in talking to the owner directly, magic happens. VRBO was a much better platform before their recent greed motivated changes.
