Poor Service on day of Connection - otherwise very good

City Fibre installed the line today for Zen, everything connected as it should but no broadband. City Fibre were confident it wasn’t their problem and Zen didn’t pick up. Gave up after waiting for 45 minutes for technical help.
Quite stressful. This is a new line for my mother who has dementia.
Now, two days later the issue has been resolved. My brother got through and a reboot did the trick.
To be fair, Zen, have been generally very good but just fell down with the lack of customer support on the day the line was installed.

Terrible Customer Service all of a sudden

I've been with Tesco Mobile for a number of years and the customer service has always been absolutely excellent. Until today. They have evidently outsourced customer service abroad, which is fine if it works, but in my case the service was absolutely terrible. Was given the wrong information, transferred to the wrong department, transferred back and then the final person I spoke to hadn't got a clue what they were doing.
I know companies need to keep their costs down but in this case they need to know that they've lost a customer.

Don’t Trust Their Go Live Dates

Strongly feel that the company weren't honest when I ordered my broadband. I was told it would be two weeks to go live and I immediately received an email confirming this. The very next day I received another email saying that the live date would be delayed but giving no actual date. I had to chase up a week later and eventually I now have a date some 10 days after that so over 3 1/2 weeks in total.
When I complained I was told that the delay was due to a problem with open reach at the street box.
1. Strange that Delay was flagged up the very next day after I ordered, and no explanation given.
2. I live in a block with 22 apartments, most of them through open reach. No one else has a problem.
If you order through them and they promise you a two week live date Id take this with a very large pinch of salt.
Btw, The customer service team I found to be quite aggressive.

Exceptionally Good Experience

On behalf of my elderly parents I submitted a home insurance claim with LV. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Straight through to them, a very easy claims process and quick payment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Poor Service - Tricky Auto Renew

Watch out for the "auto renew membership" hidden in their T and C's. They've just done this to me, charging me full price, and there's no cooling off period so I'm stuck with paying for another years terrible service.
Best advice is don't sign up with them in the first place!

Worthless Policies

Very poor. I would recommend NOT using this company.
As many other reviews state, sign up is simple, easy and relatively low cost.
Also, as many other reviews state, they will do almost anything to avoid paying out.
In our case, our neighbour, a close family friend who volunteers for Guide Dogs for the Blind, was walking our dog when a grass seed became lodged in his ear which required vet treatment.
A simple claim? After 3 months of silence they have now declined the claim because he was with someone who is not a family member. No other insurers I have checked with (for renewal) would have refused the claim.

Avoid Wizz, whatever the price they quote you

If you see a really great value price from Wizz and are tempted to book with them, my strong advise would be DON’T DO IT!
They appear to operate an organised “scam”. It’s impossible to check in on line with them, or using their app. The telephone numbers they provide are all premium rate (£1.50 per minute) and lead you on a merry dance with a series of automated messages. They then sting you for 38 euros check in fees each way for each passenger. This is collected by a separate agency and is impossible to avoid.
They also have a ridiculously small hand luggage allowance and will charge you for anything bigger.
Add in the hours spent on the computer and the stress at the airport and they really really aren’t worth it. You have been warned!
