I have experienced excellent service on everything that I ordered, from a grinder to filters and other coffee gear.

My main regular purchase is their Embankment blend which I find is the gold standard of go-to coffee beans. I dabble a lot in other blends and single origin beans, but I always keep a bag of this for regular drinking and if I have company. Truly great coffee!

I placed an order for a French calfskin strap - Blue with red contrast stitching. The watch being 19mm lug width and a 40th Birthday present to myself, I decided to get something special as an alternative to the bracelet it came on. This being a handmade strap, it took a little while to arrive. But the time spent crafting such a delightful strap was worth every second.

You cannot rush genius, and I could tell that this was a labour of love. Perfect fit, both on the watch and to my wrist. Not too showy, but with enough presence in the contrast colour to bring focus to the watch.

If you are considering one of David's straps, don't hesitate!

After considering a number of options, I bought a vintage Rolex from Sonning. I was considering something newer but in the end the allure of a handmade piece made on my birth year had me - even Rolex use robots these days. The watch looked in great condition in the photos, but I was overjoyed that the quality surpassed my expectations when the watch arrived. Fantastic service. I am very happy!
