Excellent support and a significant problem resolved
I had an issue after upgrading Topaz Photo AI from 3.4.4 to 3.5 in that the rainbow spinner on my Mac started every time I tried to do anything within Topaz. It was unusable.
The support I received from Ange was excellent. Ange organised a Zoom call to help diagnose the issue and was very diligent in following up with her development team and keeping me informed via multiple emails as her investigation progressed.
Long story short, Ange identified it was an issue with my network proxy settings. When I turned off 'Auto Proxy Discovery' on the mac, which was affecting the ethernet connection, all worked ok and at full speed. I later discovered 3.5 onwards worked fine with wifi and no ethernet connection even with the proxy still enabled.
So to be clear, the issue was not with Topaz but due to the combination of a Virgin Media internet connection using Ethernet and an iMac with 'Auto Proxy Discovery' enabled.
I'm now on version 3.6 of Photo AI which is much faster now the proxy is turned off than 3.4.4. ever was!
