My mother has had some blinds from…

My mother has had some blinds from Hillary’s for 2.5 years. Wish I could post a photo of the state of them. Terrible quality as so thin and have broken twice now (once under guarantee). Why would Hillary’s recommend thin blinds on a main patio door when they tangle so easily? Charge of £48 for someone from Hillary’s to send someone out to try and fix them? Also whoever fitted them literally drilled into the patio door itself to fit them? Honestly save your money and go elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to share your Mothers experience with us.

Whilst we understand the disappointment that's been caused. The warranty fr our blinds is 2 years from time of installation - Years 2 to 3 we are able to offer a repair service (depending on the repair required) for a charge of £48.00.

In relation to the blinds being installed into the frame of the window because of the length of time the blinds have been installed it is with regret that we are unable to take this forward.

Purchased a replacement watch but…

Purchased a replacement watch but accidentally ordered the wrong size. £10 return cost and then expects me to print the label with no other option (I.e. QR code)! It’s not 2004!

Great Experience!

Booked with Voyage Prive after multiple TUI holiday flight cancellations which forced us to cancel the trip entirely. We booked a new last minute holiday via Voyage Prive to Santorini and it did not disappoint!
Great hotel and holiday overall. Great customer service when I queried baggage allowance error. Would recommend.

Part of order suddenly out of stock

Purchased a matching sweatshirt and joggers. Received an email confirming 'order is on its way', only to then receive an email advising that the sweatshirt is out of stock due to 'an error in our inventory system'. I responded requesting the rest of my order be cancelled. I had ordered a matching set so why would I now want to keep the joggers? I was told that this was not possible and that I would need to wait for the delivery and return the item. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs.

Not left yet for the holiday but its currently a 1* experience so far…

EasyJet notified us at 2am that our outbound flights to Naples were cancelled at 6am today (3rd July). We managed to book on the next flight which is 7pm this evening, meaning we miss the entire first day of an all inclusive holiday.

TUI phone representatives were rude and antagonistic when we spoke to them in the early hours. We requested an extension of the holiday (additional 1 night hotel and change to inbound flight by 1 day) to make up for the lost first day. We were told that as we had already changed our flights directly with EasyJet, nothing could be done by TUI as it’s the fault of a third party and to contact EasyJet for a compensation.

We we told via TUI messenger chat this morning that we CAN extend our trip but only if WE organise it with the hotel and airline and WE fund the cost. Brings into question the value of TUI as a service provider in all of this?

First and the very last time we book via TUI.

UPDATED: The second flight was also cancelled meaning we were now looking at being booked onto a 5 day holiday instead of 6 (a very expensive long weekend!). We were at our wits end and just wanted to cancel the whole trip. We finally managed to get through to the first individual at TUI who actually seemed to care about what had happened. ‘Ian from the valleys’ showed us excellent customer service and empathy for what we had endured. He clearly outlined our available options and we were finally able to cancel our trip and get a full refund.

Bed arrived on time and we love it - great quality. We misplaced the assembly instructions but was no issue - called Danetti customer service and 15 minutes later received a copy via email. Would recommend!

Worst colour and customer service I’ve ever had!

Worst colour and customer service I’ve ever had. Would not recommend this salon to my worst enemy! Went today (Tuesday) for a high lift colour with the most senior hairdresser available. The colour was ready for my wedding on Friday outside of London. It has turned out brassy yellow which was not fixable with a toner. I’ve been using high lift for 6 years and it’s never been so bad (I have Lilac front pierces from the toner as well). I was told that there was no way they could rectify it today (Tuesday) because they are fully booked and that I would have to pay for the toner and treatment even though I hated the colour. When i refused to pay I was told they would call the police. I cried multiple times in the salon but was told that if I really wanted it rectified I would have to come back the next day which I can’t do as I have wedding appointments. The salon staff were rude and unhelpful and told me that I was warned at the start that it could go yellow but my rebuttal was that it has never turned out like this with my previous stylist at Rush. Surely if one stylist can get it right every time then it is indeed possible to get right? Overall the worst salon experience I’ve ever had.
