really egregious policies

No possibility to leave anonymous feedback (really bad for users!) or to view feedback without leaving feedback (which is forcing people to enter fake data if they want to see reviews!) and they want to be linkedin so they’re weirdly breaking dat a protection regulations by actively using found info to de-anonymize old profiles - really wild behavior. do not use!

RailNinja is scamming tourists

RailNinja is a scam website. They're earning money by capitalizing on tourists who don't understand that they're not on the transit agency website. They also petition to remove reviews that mention this by claiming that you’re not a real customer. They provide no service at all. They buy up websites that sound like the websites of local transit agencies and then make it seem like you're on the transit site. They sell tickets that might not even exist (for example, Portguese train tickets are only available a few weeks out from your travel date, but RailNinja sells a "ticket" before the ticket can even be purchased, and you might not get the seat you think you bought - the same is true of the German rail system). You can buy your train tickets through the official local transit sites in all countries. They're in English, it's easy and safe, it's so much cheaper, and you won't get scammed.

Mass-Produced, Not Handmade

Very, very little of what is sold on Etsy is handmade. I sold on Etsy for years and had a very successful shop, but I shut it down in 2021 because Etsy began moving towards policies that shut out smaller shops and continually refuses to take down mass-produced items even if a quick search shows that they're posted on Aliexpress. There are a ton of items that are copies of things that others have created - most successful sellers will have their products copied and sold by others. The internet can be moderated, and so can these platforms. Etsy has chosen not to moderate or get involved in order to maximize profits.

Lost package, no refund?!

I ordered in the past and they were great - this time, I placed an order in the middle of December. They finally "sent" the parcel in January. It would have been fine if it actually arrived, but it was "picked up" by Evri (??) on the 12th of Jan. and never moved. I've written countless emails, and they either don't answer, or tell me that it's been shipped and I should contact the shipper (Evri says to contact the seller) or that they want to "wait and see". In the last email they told me they don't refund shipping delays! I wouldn't call this a shipping delay, I would call it theft of the money that I paid them for something that I actually needed in December of 2022. Do not use this company. I'm currently looking into how to report them and what legal process I'll have to use to get my money back.

No tech support, just clueless call center agents.

I switched from another hosting provider because they outsourced tech support and no longer allowed you to communicate directly with anyone but "first" (I'd call it zero) level support, who clearly have no background in IT. Hostgator has apparently done the same thing. If you do not provide your customers with direct access to skilled tech support, especially when there are system errors, you waste enormous amounts of customer time and energy. I've spent hours trying to get someone from the chat or call center to create and escalate a ticket for a server-side error that's impossible to fix from my side but would take about five minutes on their side. I've received no response and no assistance. I've already lost a great deal of money as I'm having to refund clients that can't access the online classes, and I have no idea when or if they'll ever fix it. Don't host with them. Really. They don't care about customers.

Replying to the statement below: I’ve been emailing and calling customer support for days. Every time, we start over from the beginning - now you want me to start over from the beginning yet again. I have an open ticket! If you guys were competent, you’d be addressing the open ticket.

Don’t do it - lots of mistakes in food box & difficult to cancel

There is no way to email the company to cancel. You can’t cancel in the app or do n the website. There is no contact form, although if you click around the website often mentions a contact form. This is annoying and not customer centered - trying to force people to continue to keep a subscription by making it hard to cancel is not customer friendly and is extremely unethical. If your service/product was really good you wouldn’t have to do this. I have so many things to do & calling them is going to take time I could be using to do something worthwhile. I really dislike when companies are so wildly disrespectful of their customers.

Terrible company. Unreliable! Terrible service!

I paid for express international delivery from myself to myself (US to Germany) and the carrier returned the package to the sender address after a month and a half of being stuck in a delay in a shipping center. After emailing back and forth with both Parcel Money and the carrier, I finally got the carrier to admit they made a mistake - they are willing to discuss a refund, but they will only talk to the legal sender. However, Parcel Monkey is refusing to refund me and does not seem to have any interest in discussing a refund with the carrier. Please note that if you use this service, you run the risk of not being able to get a refund if there is a dispute or mistake made on the part of the carrier - they will not talk to you or discuss options. Parcel Monkey has shown me clearly that they do not value me as a customer even after I have been consistently shipping (nternational express!) with them over the past year.

Edited to add: they did not address the issue, I do not know why they said they did in the answer below.
2nd Edit: Months later, they’ve made it worse. I wish I could give negative stars.
