Don't judge a book by its cover...

looks good, but is clunky, hit and miss whether it works or not, I have spent around 50-60 hours to get this package going, and i still have to manually add product images, enable the products. you have to use a third party program (circa $250) to even get close to uploading images.

Cube cart took me 4 hours to do from start to finish.

i can see why (if they have the big businesses they claim to use it) have full-time developers working on it.
It has a lot of potential, but has a long way to go before it can be classed as a "good" e-commerce store.
How they charge 1500 a month to host this package i do not know!

The Mary Poppins of Hosting firms

The Mary Poppins of Hosting firms. Practically perfect in every way.

It's rare i hand out a five star rating. but the first two weeks have been great, i'd almost given up after my last hosting company...
Support is quick and polite. the custom cpanel is really good, a nice easy layout.
The opposite to most other companies, i would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

(depends who you get) tech support, poor admin and customer first service.

i have used one and one for years, They have great ideas, but the admin to back them up is poor. I would like to give 4/5 stars.
- Example

I recently got a server with the 30 day money back guarantee, and it failed (hard drive issues - it happens) the tech set me up a new server within the hour and told me (after i queried) that i won't have to pay, he will shut down the failing one.
I had to shut down the failing one -which got me my guaranteed return but i am being chased for the set up and monthly rental of a new server which i was told i wouldn't have to pay.
the same happened to the new server, however, the hard drive was changed (which is what i thought should have happened with the first one) I cannot fault the technical service of the server farms, HOWEVER, please honour what you tell customers, don't forget if YOUR hardware and service fails the customer is inconvenienced in my case i had to rebuild servers taking up time which i could be selling things :)

it's also still not easy to cancel things if you make an error in purchasing!

i would recommend one and one, however, it comes with caution currently.

1 and 1's amazing aptitude for incompetence, arrogance and ignorance never fails to surprise me, now three months after my original trial with one and one, i am still being charged rental for a server i cancelled under their "30 day money back guarantee", they are still billing me for the monthly cycle of that one, AND the new one set-up!
(That's illegal btw charging for a service that's not being received.)
I am still being chased for the setup fees on the second one after the tech told me i wouldn't have to as it was a replacement for the failed one. and i am now being charged for that second servers rental. (Thats 80.00 a month! for one server i have a contract with)

one and one have ignored my questions, and the information provided them and billing has passed me onto hosting!!

There is a saying "cheap is never cheerful", it seems never a truer word spoken, cheap is not worth the stress i am getting at the moment!

currently my advice, buy cheap domain names at one and one, after a year move on, but never get any services from them as their promises and guarantees aren't worth anything it seems!
