Beware buying plates for EU travel
EU plates update:
A couple of comments on the N1P Reply: "We can't be held liable for the order and how this came through to us with the design you have chosen". - Please take some responsibility, the whole point is that I chose this design because you state, very clearly, that it is 100% LEGAL!
"We have a specific badge which is under the section foreign plates, these are 100% legal to go abroad with". - Having looked again I cannot find this, if it is there it must be buried deep in the website and as there is no search function how can you find it..
As I have said please take some responsibility, it would be very easy for you to clearly state in the builder which are ACTUALLY legal outside of the UK! Most people need a flag / symbol as they are driving abroad!!
I bought what I believed were 100% legal plates, as the website states, these included a union Jack and GB initials (as was on my previous set with EU stars). It actually turns out that these are NOT legal in Europe!
Only the initials UK with a Union Jack are actually legal.
Given the amount of choice for a badge, without any statements regarding their actual legal status and the 100% legal strapline on the header of their website is massively misleading.
Waste of money!
