Poor customer service, deleting genuine reviews

Received a faulty iPad cover, was told to return it.

I told them it’s not worth my time printing out a label to wait weeks for a return of €4.

Customer service was appalling, issued me with a return label to print off anyway when I already explained it wasn’t worth my time and they REMOVED the bad review I left of the iPad cover.

Very, very deceiving on Shein’s part as I was warning others not to purchase it, my review had mysteriously disappeared.

Appalling customer service

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would.

Had a very unpleasant encounter with a customer service agent called Rimjhim.

Asked him multiple times for a complaints procedure in regards to the interaction and was ignored. He then ended the chat rudely and abruptly.

I have shopped with ASOS for many years and this will be the last time I order anything from them. Buyer beware!

If I could give them no stars, I would.

First and last time ordering from them. Placed an order and 2 out of the 3 items came defective.

I tried to get through to online customer service but was left over 15 minutes waiting with no agent answering.

I then emailed them with pictures of the defective items and haven’t heard anything back.

Says online that if I return the items, I am deducted a further €2 for returning FAULTY items.

Non existent customer service and bad quality products, please avoid this company at all costs.

They are selling used items

I placed an order for an item online, a hot tools Curl bar.

The delivery was prompt and came with 2 sample gifts, which was very nice of them.

However, upon opening, the Curl
Bar had scuff marks/scratches on it.

The item didn’t arrive in a sealed condition either, indicating that the item has already been used.

The item was on sale but the website should have stated it would arrive in second hand condition, I wouldn’t have placed the order in the first place.

I am very disappointed and unfortunately this is my first and last time ordering from this chemist.


Update:
They have ignored my complaints email with the picture of the damaged product attached and only responded when I told them I would dispute the transaction.

They replied straight away then so they clearly saw my email and chose to ignore it.

They also tried to lie and say that the hot tools curl bar doesn’t come sealed, when a quick check on the Hot Tools official website states otherwise, shame on you.

then had to fight with them over returning the item as they refused to provide adequate postage and packaging as in I’m in a different county.

I regret ordering from this chemist in the first place if I knew how rude they would be.

Please choose a different courier

Have ordered from facetheory multiple times, never had a problem, love the products.

Had an issue with delivery the last time, the courier service had me sitting all day waiting on a delivery that never arrived.

The customer service reps were helpful in the matter, the package eventually arrived.

Please get a new courier, Fastway are terrible, took away one star just because of the courier you’re using, so bad but love the products.

Customer beware

Judging by reviews, I thought supporting a local business that had good reviews would be a good way to go, boy was I wrong.

Encountered a very rude customer representative on the phone from the get go his attitude was very unpleasant.

When I told him that when I initially signed up for the 1gb contract, I was told an engineer would come out to have a look at the Siro box to make sure everything was OK, as there was a Siro box already installed on the premises.

I explained I was only getting speeds of 350-500mb. To which this customer representative tried to say it was ‘normal’.

It’s not normal. I signed up for a contract of 1gb not 350mb. I was with virgin media before, getting speeds of 850mb-950mb on a 1gb contract.

Not only that but when I asked him when an engineer was due to come out and have a look at the connection, he refused to send one out, when I asked, multiple times.

This is very, very poor customer service.

I wanted to support local but from this experience alone, I will switch back to Virgin Media who will provide the speeds they promise and not rip you off and tell you it’s normal to get 350mb on a 1gb contract and have rude customer representatives on the phone clearly having a bad day and taking it out on others.

I am still within my 14 day cool off period, if nothing is resolved, I will cancel this contract and if they attempt to take any money out of my account, I will go straight to the bank and cut the direct debit off and they won’t get a cent off me.

Customer beware.

Stay well away from these scam artists!!

4 years I have been with this company, both for gas and electricity to receive an affinity discount.

Each year a customer representative called to offer a new and better affinity discount bar last year (2020).

I got a very expensive bill right before Christmas and upon further inspection of my bill, they had taken my affinity discount off my account. Right before Christmas and during a pandemic, absolutely no shame!! Appalling behaviour.

I emailed the complaints department (Ellen) who admitted that someone from their customer service department should have gotten into contact about a better affinity discount, they admitted it was a mistake on their end.

Ellen, the customer complaints agent, said that she would give me the new discount after I paid my gigantic bill. I cut off my direct debit and told her I would not pay it until a discount is applied to it or I would switch providers and not pay the bill at all.. you either want me as a customer or not??

Straight away she offered to reinstate my affinity discount to the outstanding bill and any bills going forward. However, after looking at their website, they offer a higher discount to new customers? What ever happened to customer retention??

A customer representative called a few days later to ask for permission to reinstate my direct debit, which he said he would do. He didn't.

I received an email that my direct debit failed and that I had an outstanding charge.

I emailed Ellen again, very annoyed at this point, and explained what happened and she claimed that she would follow up with the agent in question.

Whilst she did that, I paid for my bill manually online.

Ellen then proceeded to lie and tell me that my bill has been paid and that the customer agent had set up my direct debit, blatantly lying as I had paid for it myself, which I told her in an email which was included in an email with my response to which she ignored completely.

The next month I get another email to say my direct debit has not gone through. Once again, I contacted customer service to explain that the customer agent said he would reinstate the direct debit and never did

Once again, my email was completely ignored.

Not only did this company try and scam me out of a lot of money but they are liars and are incompetent to do their jobs, especially Ellen, who is supposed to be in charge of the complaints department, who through my experience does not care about customer resolutions whatsoever.

The only thing they care about is gaining new customers, customer retention is not their priority. A bunch of incompetent, unhelpful scammers.

Will not be renewing my contract at the end of the year and will advise friends and family to do the same.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Buyer protection non existent! PAYPAL ARE FRAUDS

Buyer protection non existent!! PayPal favour scammer sellers.. kept pushing back my resolution date and then went in favour of the fraudulent seller on the basis I provided the incorrect tracking details.. which I didn’t.. absolute FRAUDS.

I am now forced to escalate to the bank after over 2 months!!

Fraudulent company, sending ‘automated emails’ at 3 in the morning?? LOL give me my money back!! DO NOT BUY OFF THEM

Placed an order for Dr Martens boots which arrived quickly.

Upon inspection of the boots, the boots had inconsistencies, scratches and marks (they are made of leather).

The boots were expensive. I received the product on a Saturday morning and immediately aimed to return to sender for a refund.

Within the package, a returns label was included. Reasons for returns etc. However there was NO return address on the label.

As I wanted my refund ASAP for a faulty product they thought was good enough to send out to a consumer, SHAME ON THEM, I went to the nearest parcel connect as I ordered from Ireland, I had to pay a postage fee of €20.

I sent it through parcel connect to the address at the front of the package, where it says the boots came from as NO returns address was provided with the returns label. Which shows how dodgy and unprofessional the company is.

I have taken pictures of the faulty boots as proof and sent this on to the seller along with a picture of the receipt for the parcel connect fee to return THEIR faulty product as I have a right to be reimbursed, this message was sent to them on Saturday afternoon/evening.

The seller sent me a message at 2 o’clock in the morning to say they were away until Monday?? What kind of company emails their consumers at 2 o’clock in the morning?

Come Monday, the seller sends me a message telling me that I sent the boots to the wrong address and that I should have waited for them to respond before returning the product and that they are refusing to give me a refund of over €150 plus €20 postage for a few MONTHS as I sent the return to the wrong address?

The address was at the front of the package when I received it and no address on the returns label.

Very dodgy that they never added the returns address on the returns label??

Not to mention the passive aggressive messages? Very rude customer service.

I will be opening a PayPal dispute in regards to this. They are withholding my refund because apparently it is MY fault they didn’t add a return address on the returns label??

I am also contacting the EU consumer watchdog into this fraudulent company. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS PEOPLE!!

As the reviewer before me has said, read all of their reviews!!

BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.



UPDATE:

The passive aggressive rude messages keep coming. Apparently it’s MY fault that I didn’t give them enough time to respond to a returns process?

Just to clarify, I sent them a message at 5/6 o’clock on a Saturday evening telling them I was returning the faulty boots as I wanted my money back ASAP.

They replied at 3 o’clock in the morning saying they were out of the office until Monday. Ummm hello?? What kind of company emails at 3 o’clock in the morning to say they’re out of the office? FRAUDULENT COMPANIES.

You can keep sending me rude passive aggressive messages trying to put the blame on me for a fault on YOUR end. I’ll just keep updating the reviews.

Another update:
Fraudulent seller claiming I have the shoes when I don’t. Tracking details and Fastway couriers themselves confirmed that the faulty shoes were delivered to the retailer. DO NOT BUY OFF THEM. Have been forced to go to the bank in relation to these scam artists.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for the issues you have been experiencing.

The Package was posted back to the address where the courier company normally accepts all the undelivered return packages. The courier than returns all the packages back to us. Once we receive your package we will process your refund.

As per the eBay return policy, if the buyer wishes to return an item back to the seller . The buyer must open a Return request and wait for the seller to accept your request and provide you with the return instructions which was not done in this case.

We are open from Monday - Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM and you emailed us on Friday after 5 PM so our system sent an auto-reply email saying that we are closed and we will get back to you on Monday. This was the email that was sent a 3 AM by our System.

We do not include the return label inside the package but instead, we put the return form the buyer wishes to return the item back they should contact the seller so that the seller can provide the buyers with the correct return instructions. In this case, the Buyer contacted us on Friday evening, and on the same evening they posted the item back to the address they found on the package.


UPDATE:
As per the return tracking details, the customer provided the package is still not delivered to the address they posted. Once it's delivered to the address we will contact our courier to have this shipment returned back to us. Once we receive the shipment back we will process the refund.

Poor quality control, necklace turned black and still no refund weeks later!!!

Ordered a necklace which was delivered quickly enough but had clearly already been worn as it was covered in scratches and had parts that were discoloured.

Update:
I sent them back the damaged necklace and paid for P&P myself which they reimbursed me for and sent me out a replacement necklace.

The necklace is fab but due to the poor quality control of their warehouse by sending me out the first one, I won’t be ordering again. It’s a shame because their stuff is really nice and I ordered a pair of earrings in a separate order that were perfect.

Also changed the rating as a result.

ANOTHER UPDATE:

Argento never issued a refund for P&P like they said they would for sending the faulty product back.

Said they would issue a refund within 7-10 working days and and it’s over 10 working days later and still nothing, shameful!!

Still no refund for postage! DO NOT BUY OFF THEM.

Here’s another update months later. I received the replacement necklace and it looked fine. However, it had not been worn until today. I took it out of the box and the chain turned BLACK.. it’s a fake chain!!! Scam artists!! AVOID!!!!

As per our Returns policy,, we state that all returns and exchanges will be processed within 7 working days of receiving them, and we can see that this was processed within three days of receipt. We can also see that as discussed, the customer services team have refunded you the cost of the post to return the item to us and dispatched a new one. We can also confirm that no emails have been ignored and all have been responded to within our stipulated 48 hrs timeframe.

Faulty products

To be honest, I was willing to pay a good price for a decent dehumidifier.

I ordered the Electriq dehumidifier for a hefty price and it broke 6 months later. I sent it back because it was still under warranty and when I asked customer service what the issue was they couldn’t tell me where the fault came from.

They sent me out a replacement only after I contacted them about how much longer it would be.

I got the replacement dehumidifier and the same thing has happened with this one.

Do not order off their site, charging ridiculous prices for faulty goods!
