Bicycle accessories on ebay

I ordered from them on ebay. The price was very competitive (maybe the best at the time) for a brand new product in original packaging. They are good and efficient to deal with in my opinion.

New to sending parcels…

I'm new to sending a lot of parcels (recently started ebay selling after being just a buyer for years). This was a particularly heavy item, and with the help of the ParcelCompare site, I was able to negotiate a delivery to my buyer promptly and at a good price, I thought. Everything worked smoothly and the parcel arrived safely (via UPS).

MP02 phone useless on UK Three network !!!

I bought my MP02 phone in July 2023. It worked ok. It is advertised as a 4G phone, and I bought it to make sure I could use a simple (non-"smart") phone when the 3G signal was switched off. But when the switch-over to 4G happened in September 2024, my punkt phone stopped working for voice calls in the UK. It worked fine when I visited Switzerland and Turkey, but not in England! I have communicated with the Punkt support team now for 7 (seven!) months, but they have not made my MP02 work. I have told them that if they can't make it work I will want a full refund. They said that I've had the phone for too long for a refund to be possible. (and offered me a voucher towards one of their smartphones - NO THANKS !!! ) I'd rather have the one I bought originally work for me anyway, as it is quite a nice phone for someone who doesn't want to be bothered to carry around a mobile computer and tracking device (smart phone). They also blame their inability to sort it out on my provider in the UK, ThreeMobile, and they said on 30.Jan 2025 that "Specifically, we are actively working with the carrier to resolve the whitelisting process." But I don't think it can be this difficult. Anyway, they are not keeping me informed on what is going on, and maybe they just don't care?

Trust(pilot) is important and powerful

I posted a cutting but truthful review about my disappointing experience of buying a bedsheet that didn't fit the mattress it was advertised for. The company, which had quite a few negative reviews about not resolving customer complaints, got back to me (via reply on Trustpilot !) "by return of post"; I am now communicting with them - hoping to get a refund or a fitting replacement. Watch this spot !

Don't buy fitted sheets from Dunelm if you want them to fit your matress!

Ordered a sheet for super king size mattress. It doesn't fit our super king size mattress. I didn't complain, because other reviews said the company does not give refund in such cases and I cannot afford to waste my time.

I was ex spec(!) ting better

My payment for the glasses was taken out of my account on 4th May. Today is 5th June ! I know we're still under Covid, but would it really take one full month to deliver? Or is the money taken before the order is ready - not the practice of a reputable company in my experience ? It is hard to check up on the progress of delivery for me as the order tracking page does not show the date of despatch ! That's another star gone. Plus, the fact that I get asked to review my purchase before delivery is made tells me that the company is not very well organised.

Upon checking your account, we can see that your order was placed on 4th May, one pair was dispatched on 14th May and the other on 18th May, both within the 10-14 days that we quote for orders.

We had not received contact from you to advise that you had not received your glasses and so the review email was sent as normal, we apologise for any inconvenience or confusion caused.

If you have still not received your glasses, we would recommend contacting your local Royal Mail sorting office in case they are holding the parcels for you. Once this has been checked, please contact us via email or telephone to update us and we will follow our lost in post procedure.

They gave me good advice prior to purchase, easy delivery with one hour slot - very happy. As far as product goes (clear glaze by Fiddes) - I can't say how it will last over time, but it went on very well, very good coverage, and gave a smooth satin finish. Thank you.

Generally good quality good service …

Generally good quality good service company if you want paper copies of your photos. Some of the exposures are slightly darker than when viewed electronically, but that may be just in the nature of the pictures.And they would probably do free repeats if I could be bothered to ask !
