I will get this out of the way, the workouts and app is great. Loved it.
Customer service however, is where this company falls apart. I always judge a company by how they treat their current customers or customers who want to leave or stop a service.
Like others have mentioned I got automatically charged for another year! No warning, no reminder of the $100 renewal until the day it was gone. I did get a thanks for renewing email! Fix this guys. Tell your customers you are about to withdraw money before you do it. Its the polite thing to do.
I did request a refund which I thought would be processed and done with. Instead I was told that no refund is allowed on renewals. It is "our policy". Instead I was offered to "use the coach" or offered a Freeletics Nutrition access.
Customer service did eventually give me a refund. This is why the review is a 2/5 not a 1/5. After making an "exception". I appreciate the exception for my case, I do, but this should not be an exception. This should be your policy. Keep your customers ( past, present and future ) happy.
Don't treat your customers this way. Especially with a service that relies so heavily on word of mouth and customer satisfaction.
