Submitted the claim on Sunday for my car rental excess cover bought through worldwide insure. Was a small amount only 65 Euros! was requested for an additional document (the original rental contract). Fortunately, had an email copy as the rental company kept the physical copy at the time of handing me over the contract. Submitted the document and Tuesday and the claim was settled on Wednesday morning. I rent a lot so will renew my insurance!
Just make sure that you keep all the documents (rental contract, invoice, copy of damage report)
