Upgrade mess
Got a call from carphone warehouse on the 3rd of February to upgrade my contract which I had put off for 2 years. I went ahead with this. I changed my mind about the device and was asked to return it for an exchange. Device was returned on the 7th of February (this was well within the 14 days cooling period).I even got a picture proof of the said return. I call carphone warehouse the following week asking for my new device and was told they will have to reverse the contract so I can get a new contract with the device I want.
It's been a month now of very bad customer service from carphone warehouse. They asked me to call Vodafone to get the contract reversed as that is my network provider. I call Vodafone who ask me why I am doing the job of carphone warehouse. Stating that I took the contract through them and not with Vodafone directly. So carphone warehouse needs to sort this out immediately. I call carphone warehouse and I am put on hold for an hour plus. After which I am transferred back to Vodafone.
I have been calling carphone warehouse every day since February 7th and its been a total nightmare. They have their phone back but are still charging me over £40 for nothing. They always say 'we have escalated this and our manager will call you'. Nobody ever does. No one has the courtesy to do so.
Absolutely shameful!
