Neil Ring and his colleague James have been ideal to work with on my new build house. Neil’s initial involvement to when the work started took over a year. He worked well with my builder to co-ordinate the installment of a Mitsubishi air source heat pump and new water cylinder.

I supplied the EPC certificate and Neil arranged for the Ofgen grant, gave me a heads up when I had to complete an on-line form on gov.uk and he promply provided the guarantees and building regs compliance certificate afterwards. James returned once the building contract finished to walk me through all the controls, explained about checking the pressure gauge from time to time, who to contact for annual servicing and checking the thermostat controls in the house. Most importantly he explained how the new system would differ from the gas boiler, hot water tank and immersion heater in the loft in my previous house.

As for the heat pump the sound when it’s operating is not very audible and my neighbour, who was concerned about the noise it would create when he was out in his garden, didn’t realise it was up and running for a fortnight when we spoke about it after installation. I highly recommend Neil Ring to anyone considering an air source heat pump.

By chance I came cross the Spaceslides showroom in Hemel Hempstead and decided to go inside. Mo and Nimesh were very helpful from start to finish. Nimesh measured up and provided constructive visual aides for the fitters. He was very patient as I considered all options for rails, Sliding doors and all the component parts. Sample finishes were provided and assisted in my decision on flooring to complete the space for a walk-in wardrobe and face-to-face sliding door wardrobes.
Steve, Charlie, Tom and Jack were professional, talented and courteous. The carpentry work took two days and the walk-in wardrobe built into the eaves was a bit tricky to ensure hanging garments were a metre off the floor. On the second day I was consulted on shelving and rail heights where it was flexible in the design to ensure I was satisfied with the final results. They left the area clean, tidy and the wardrobe sliding doors sparkling. Thanks a million!

The RHS website has a wealth of information to assist in my purchased decision. The plants I decided to order were packaged to ensure they arrived in perfect condition. The transport was well documented and very prompt. Very pleased with the goods.
