Not what was ordered
I ordered a large standing flower arrangement for my brother in law whose mother passed away several days ago. The cost was $134, plus an almost $25 service fee and over $12 tax, total charge was $172.74. I DID NOT receive the large arrangement or the stand that came in the description of “White standing sympathy flowers” . Their corporate offices are in Delaware but I Googled a local florist in Waverly Hall, GA and placed my order online. I thought I was giving a small business, my business but found out otherwise. I had to call their customer service because there are no local numbers. Customer service numbers go all over the country and because they state all representatives are assisting others, they will call me back. My call came later and all I could hear were kids screaming in the background. The service rep, John asked me what the deceased’s name was but this wasn’t for a deceased person. It was for a very alive brother in law. Then I received word my delivery was made, but after checking, it had not been delivered. I’m extremely disappointed in the floral arrangement as it is an embarrassment because it was smaller than what I ordered, making me look cheapskate. I’m sorry I did business with this company.
Update 4/27/25…I sent all the information that was requested and even had a chat message with someone from Avas. I told them I wanted the flowers I ordered and paid for to resolve this. There has been no follow through on my request. Extremely disappointed because this was a sympathy bouquet and it proved to be embarrassing for me.
