What a useless company

What a useless company. Trying for weeks to make a purchase on their Web site. Checkout failed several times for no reason. Now I can't put the item in the basket as there is no link, only a sales enquiry for which WD failed to respond to. Useless pre-sales service, can't imagine how poor after-sales service would be. This is one to avoid I think.

Great App

Whatever about the huge premiums for private healthcare, I have to give credit where it's due for the Laya app and the prompt payment of medical receipts. The app is excellent and very convenient in photographing and uploading receipts.

Promo Codes Stop Working at Checkout!?

I tried the code BEOBSESSED10 which appeared to work, up until I got to Checkout. The code discount then disappeared the tax increased. Price went up from £209 to £232. Is this some sort of a scam to lure a customer in and then just slap on an increase in price? 'Houseofcb' please advise what is going wrong.

Smart case failed. Horzn not responding.

After around 6 or 7 uses my so called 'smart' luggage battery pack has failed. Horzn say they can't deliver a replacement to Ireland (so, no longer a smart case!). I have no doubt Horizn can provide a replacement via an appropriate courier, but Horzn are now ignoring my emails. I have 3 other 'smart' cases I bought for relatives and am concerned that these will fail and become just a normal case. 'Smart' case seems to be a gimmick as the battery packs seem to be very poor quality! I await a positive response guy's.

I note your very strange response and I dispute a number of things.
You have not answered all my emails.
I do have other smart cases.
The issue is likely to occur again given the poor quality of the charger.
Your response and overall customer service is appalling.

Of course, we regret that we care unable to fulfil your request to send you a smart charger. As we explained, our delivery provider does ship send smart chargers, that are considered a dangerous good, to Ireland. Fortunately all the suitcases, that you ordered from us, do not have a built-in smart charger, so this problem will hopefully not occur again. All the best from Horizn.

Westin Hotel Frankfurt Intransigent

I booked Westin Hotel Frankfurt for this December. Booking confirmation included only 1 adult should have been 2 adults. Westin hotel corrected this but charged an extra €28 without explanation. Marriott BonVoy promised they would have hotel revert back to my original price and add the 2nd adult. But Westin hotel will not honour this. Not sure what use BonVoy is - they have no authority it seems. Terrible experience and I haven't even arrived yet!? Update: I have increased scoring to 3 stars as BonVoy have confirmed the issue has been resolved and extra charge lifted. Not sure what reception I'll receive at the hotel in December. Fingers crossed.

4 months later I still have received no…

4 months later I still have received no refund of any kind from this company. I spent €600 for 1 week at one of their apartments. But, we could only stay one night as it was uninhabitable due to an infestation of ants, it was within a derelict hotel, and was in a deprived location with no amenities in the area. I have photos of insect bites all over my body. The manager and staff had no interest or intention of assisting us. The so-called Red Book was never made available. I continue to pursue justice including through the various authorities.

So many problems with this software

So many problems with this software. Poor user interface. Continuous glitches. Customer service prolong any issue you may have. They ring you when you don't need them to and don't ring when you do want them to. Pretty dismal generally. Even the free version of AVG is far better than the subscription McAffee.

Outrageous behaviour by Booking.com

(Note: Booking.com just rang me and are pursuing my case. I will amend the following review as my case progresses) Outrageous behaviour by Booking.com. I rang them to say I had checked out on my first night at Boca do Rio Resort Apartment 109 (AlbuarVillas.com) due to an ant infestation (also the hotel and its facilities have been closed for 10 years). Booking.com determined my case negatively (i.e. no compensation entitlement) within hours and without even considering my video evidence. Now AlbuarVillas.com are relying on Booking.com's negative determination to avoid refunding me. What is going on here. Booking.com are undermining any chance of a refund with AlbuarVillas.com?

Holiday from Hell

We booked Boca do Rio Resort Apartment 109/109A, Estômbar, Portugal. What a nightmare. The resort hotel has been closed down for around 10 years. Albuarvillas.com neglected to include this critical fact on Booking.com. To call this a resort is surely false advertising!? We arrived at night, the entire place looked closed. We went straight to bed and were molested by mosquitoes throughout the night. The next morning, to our horror, we discovered an infestation of ants crawling throughout the apartment, including ants crawling in the bedroom. We complained immediately to AlbuarVillas.com and a representative came out and merely offered a can of mosquito spray. She rang her boss and he just advised that we complain to Booking com, but didn't speak with us. We booked for 7 nights and naturally had to check out after the first night due to the infestation and for health and safety reasons. AlbuarVillas.com (Miguel Coelho) have said they will not refund any of our almost 600 euro outlay. Potential guests should note that this 'so-called' apartment (two of the old hotel rooms joined together) is part of the now derelict hotel. There are no facilities in the area. The hotel used to provide all of the services and facilities, but all of this is now gone and are in a empty and dilapidated state. There are no bars or restaurants. Video and photo evidence available. No complaints register (Red Book) was produced when requested, a matter which I have reported to the Portuguese police as it is a legal requirement. I will update this review as things progress.

Totally rubbish and money down the drain

Totally rubbish. Have spent hours trying to install software. Mcafee even tried remotely. No joy. Appears to be no direct email contact only a snail mail address in USA. Navigating customer service and install process is a nightmare. TERRIBLE USER UNFRIENDLY SOFTWARE. The free version of AVG is far simpler and does what I need.

Time wasters

Time wasters, faulty product
Time wasters. Sent me charger cradle for Dyson that didn't fit. After numerous emails with photos and phone calls and returned item they finally conceded it was a fault on their side. However, they have not yet refunded my account and they say they cannot send a refund for the returns postage, said I would have to call to shop or they offered a credit note for the postage. Credit note no use since I would never shop here again. Giving Irish business a bad name, great pity.
