Terrible service

Terrible service. They are not in the UK. They mislead you into thinking they are. You place an order. Then find out they are not a UK company and cancel and they don't give you refund promptly or try not to give you one at all.

The Saleroom / Mailboxes Etc Delivery Scam

I have long been a happy customer of Mailboxes Etc for mail box services in Fulham, London. But I am very unhappy about what is going on with TheSaleroom.com website and Mailboxes Etc. My experience has been that whenever I buy an item via the saleroom website I then receive an unsolicited invoice for delivery of the item from Mailboxes Etc. This is like a trick I feel. You are made to think you must pay this invoice to get your item delivered. I've paid them a few times now. However, in reality you are free to get a delivery quote from the auctioneers or other delivery companies. The mailboxes etc delivery quotes are absolutely extortionate, e.g. £74.65 for a lot that is 6 postcards was the most recent one I got yesterday. You will get way better value if you arrange delivery via the auctioneer or another delivery service. Either the saleroom website is giving mailboxes etc your details so they can send you this deceptive invoice or they are both owned by the same company? I don’t know which but it is a nasty scam. There are so many nice auctioneers and delivery companies out there but The Saleroom website in conjunction with Mailboxes Etc are scamming customers on delivery.
