I bought £60 odd pounds worth of Garlic cloves and one variety Kingsland Wight was in my opinion too small to warrant setting. I sent photographic evidence to Marshalls and they are replacing the 2 bulbs. I could not ask any more then their excellent customer service
I ordered 3 different normal garlic varieties and 36 elephant garlic cloves 7 of the elephant showed signs of fungal disease which is almost 20% . Of the normal garlic Rhapsody and Rose Wight were perfectly acceptable but the Kingsland Wight cloves was simply too small to set. In all fairness to Marshalls once they had received photographic evidence immediately refunded me pro rata. Hence the 3 stars As an extra precaution when I set the remaining elephant cloves I dipped them in a anti fungal dip. Re the small cloves Marshalls informed me that there is no correlation between the size of the set cloves and the size of the grown bulb this is absolutely not true. I have grown garlic for 20 years and I have always found that the bigger the clove the bigger the garlic.
I ordered 2 replacement trickle vents but they were not the correct size which the diagram illustrated. £10 wasted. Full marks to GB DIY stores they have contacted me and offered a refund

In the middle of decorating { the first time for 3 years because of illness ) I needed some masking tape as the no nonsense that i had was not up to the job. I purchase Eurocel brand from Toolstation a brand that I have used in the past far better tape. I will stock up with it as I have 2 more rooms to decorate. Click and collect no problem and staff always pleasant.

I choose the largest cloves to purchase and they did not disappoint. The bigger the cloves the bigger the garlic. I would have given Premier seeds 5 stars but the cost of them was a little high. I kept some of my own elephant cloves from the 23/24 season so in total I have 55 set. I hope that we get some deep frosts to split the bulbs into cloves the past couple of winters have been too mild for garlic.
I stocked up at £1 a packet. When some of D.T. Brown's competitors do similar sales they advertise as 85p per packet but when you look at the sale you often find only certain seeds which generally I do not need are reduced to 85p many are reduced to say £1.50 but a lot are not reduced at all. In this instance with Brown's I bought everything that I needed at £1. Well done.

I ordered elephant garlic with £1 off and free postage. Unfortunately I had ordered the spring planting variety I did not know that there was a such a thing as elephant garlic needs a long growing season to produce large bulbs. When I telephoned I was told what I had ordered so I asked for a refund. This was done and the money was back on my card within a couple of days. I have tried to order the autumn planting variety but it is out of stock so I need to source the cloves elsewhere. Not Marshalls fault but you live and learn

First and foremost I reinvested my cash ISA with Kent Reliance because I was happy with the rate offered. It was easy to do so at that point no problem and I would have given 5 stars EXCEPT because I am very deaf and have difficulty using the phone I then kept getting calls from Kent Reliance Indian call centre. The people in the centre talk so quickly and quitely that I had not a prayer in knowing what they said. This is despite the fact that on my record at Kent Reliance I have had put in the past that all communications must be by email or letter. In all fairness to Kent Reliance they did respond to my review. I am entirely satisfied with the service I get from them as they are one of the few who pay a monthly interest on fixed accounts and the interests are usually one of the best. I would prefer a UK based call centre but that is their decision My problem is that I am profoundly deaf and phones are a nightmare to me.

I have only booked a single holiday insurance with Staysure. The reason being because of Covid I have not been away for 3 years and I want to see if I can regain my appetite for travelling again. If I can I will book an annual insurance with Staysure. The process was easy and straightforward and the price was in line with competing companies. I have insured with them in the past and have had no problems. Annual insurance makes sense I just need to be sure if travelling is want I want to do
The customer service is great as always but there is a but. The shop has been changed around since my last visit. I do click and collect so in the past I have gone to the counter on the left but this time it was to the right so customers who are not doing click and collect were in the same que as myself. I had to work my way down and ask all of them if they were doing click and collect as I did not want to jump the que. Fortunately none of them were so I could go to my counter where I was soon served. It is not a massive problem but it could be as yesterday there was half a dozen customers in the shop and not everyone is as polite as yesterdays customers. It's not a major problem but I thought it was safer if the Click and collect was on the left as you can then walk at the back of the the other customer who are not click and collect as they are queing on the other 2 service counters. Its just my opinion for what it is worth. As I have said the staff are always excellent they serve you quickly and are always pleasant.

I have used Connevaus before for my hearing aid products ie domes and cleaning wires. This time I also bought cleaning wipes that had been reduced from £10 to £2 . Products excellent and delivered as promised via Royal Mail. Would use again.

I am 72 years old and Toolstaion is 15 minutes by car half an hour by bus and one of your competitors is 5 minutes walk from where I live. Nevertheless I often use Toolstaion as they stock products others don't . The click and collect is a dream and the staff are always friendly at least they are in the Mansfield branch. They have special offers which occasionally I take up. All in all they are ok. Just a final point sometimes I walk there and back just to keep my muscles and bones moving as I did today.
Tefal EY 4018 This fryer was bought to replace a Tefal FZ710810 which rotated for about 6 months before refusing to rotate. It was a 2nd replacement for the same fryer for the same fault.This replacement just does not cook chips despite constantly shaking the fryer to move the chips. Don' waste your money on this or on any other Tefal fryer

£1 a pack for club root free seeds. Even if only 75% germinate its a bargain and delivery was quick too. Wife has bought some of her container and hanging basket seeds too. I am not so sure that was such a good idea as I don't know how long they will keep but the vegetable ones should be ok

This is the 2nd time that I have used Window Cleaning Stuff basically for my cars and domestic house window cleaning . I bought 2 Unger microwipe green one for my brother these are brillant for soaking the surplus water up when cleaning the car also 1 Unger Niger these are really good for the domestic windows and 2 Unger cloth lite for polishing the glass on the house and car. Ordered one afternoon delivered 9.00am next day . I would always recommend this company.

Don't expect to get the price that they first advertise. The cars once inspected are graded 1 to whatever and the price reduces as per grade. So to get Grade 1 you would have to have a perfect newish car with very few stone chips otherwise you would be in Grade 2. I was fortunate in that my 14 year old CRV was in pristine condition and I got Grade 2 . A normal 14 year old car would possibly get grade 4 . Having said that the price was £500 less than advertised but nevertheless far more than alternative sites offered. At least when I come to buy after lockdown I have some sway in negotiating my nett price of my chosen car with the dealers.
Both my wife and myself have used Saga car insurance for a number of years. The renewal is competitively priced and easy to renew on line or via the phone.
I ordered 4 X 5litres of Ultima Plus Moss killer . It was delivered on time and is the best moss killer I have ever used. It was recommended by one of my neighbours and both myself and my brother who had also ordered it highly recommend both the product and the company for their customer service.
