After suddenly losing a large chunk of my income I ended up in the dreadful situation of living off credit cards. Eventually it got to the point where all my credit was used up and my other income was not enough to cover all my priority and non-priority debts.

To anyone reading this I strongly suggest you give them a call but don't be surprised when the system tells you are number 20 or 30 something in the queue and you think "I'm not waiting that long"!! I can assure you your number in the queue will decrease with surprising rapidity and it wont be long before you realise there are genuine people willing to help you.

The finance was arranged by the dealer via telephone. Minimal questions asked and everything was completed in minutes. All documents eg Initial Disclosure Document, copy of the Agreement etc were sent via email.

Whilst not the cheapest VPN it does what it says it will do. I can now browse, work etc on the internet knowing that my data is safe. There are numerous servers to choose from and not one of them has slowed down my connection. How do I know it works? - My fastest/nearest server is Manchester, load YouTube and everything is normal. Change the server to Hong Kong and you get that version of YouTube along with a different IP address.

My query about a computer desk that was for sale was answered speedily and fully. This put my mind at rest so I ordered the desk online which was confirmed immediately via email.
The desk was delivered by courier (fully trackable) the next day. It comes in 2 heavy boxes. All the pieces were extremely well packed with the glass panels further protected in polystyrene. The assembly instructions/pictures were easy to follow. All screws etc are provided as is a small screwdriver and all parts and bags are individually labelled making it very easy to see which part goes where. You even get a bag labelled "Spares" just in case you misplace a screw or something.
It took me about an hour to assemble the complete desk. It is solid, without any of the wobbles you sometimes get with self assembly furniture, and now sits perfectly in the corner of my room with a laptop, 27in monitor, printer, speakers and other peripherals on it.
I thoroughly recommend this company and will not hesitate to purchase from them again should the need arise.

As a first time customer I was impressed by all aspects of their service. The guy on the telephone was extremely helpful, delivery was a day early (a big bonus) and the delivery/installation guys were polite, professional and took their time to ensure my new cooker was safe and working.

Weatherspoons. William stead in darlington. Normally decent bar staff but today there was the one member of staff on duty who is exceptionally rude, totally without manners and thinks she has a holier than thou attitude. Basically she thinks its beneath her to serve people. Today, she was doing the floor i.e collecting glasses etc without any shoes or any kind of footwear !! Totally against health and safety regulations. This person is totally unsuited to do the job she is employed to do

After having been given some conflicting information by other opticians I decided to visit Boots Opticians, High Row, Darlington yesterday to ask if it is possible to have rimless frames fitted with transition lenses. This was my first visit to the store and on entering I noticed one person sat waiting and another being shown frames by an "assistant" and I presume an "optician".
I stood waiting patiently but was not acknowledged by either of the staff. In fact, the "optician" looked at me then without a word walked away.
I then decided to look around the shop and there, at the back, was a desk and cashier point - absolutely no signage whatsoever to let you know it was there on entering.
Being the polite, patient person I am I decided to stand by the desk and wait to be attended to. There was another "assistant" fitting a customer with spectacles and another behind the desk who seemed to be tidying up. Yet again I was completely ignored - in fact, the person behind the desk looked at me, disappeared behind a partition, came back done so more fiddling about and disappeared for a second time.

That was it for me, I just walked out. Never again will I step inside that store and will never give them my custom. Customer training is badly needed there - they could learn a few lessons from Specsavers and Vision Express.

Walked into their above branch yesterday with a view to asking about an upgrade/better deal as I'd previously got my current phone through them.
On walking into the shop I was met with an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke, and after looking at the phone I was interested in I went to the counter. At that time there were 2 guys behind the "tech" counter and one what can only be a "woman", who appeared to be an advert for Vagisil ( by the way she kept scratching herself) sat at a stool at the main counter and a "chav" alongside her talking to a member of staff who was keying into a terminal.
I stood there patiently for a few minutes, hoping to be at least acknowledged.....but nothing. So I walked out. Thank you Carphone Warehouse for you "excellent" customer service. You've lost a customer and there's no way will I go back or recommend you to any of my friends/family.
