Don't read about it....Go and see it

Easy access to theatre and comfortable seating. Plenty of places to eat pre theatre and numerous parking areas.
The Whats love got to do with it tribute show was excellent. The singer playing Tina was superb in not only sounding like her but also her movements were reminiscent of Tina. Her backing group and dancers were excellent.

Great gadget at a excellent price

Great item and at a really competitive price. Item received in only 7 days which is brilliant service. Item easy to set up and was enjoying entertainment on it within a few mins.

This relates to Evan Halshaw, Spotty, Newport
Three consecutive visits to this company resulted in the following :-

1. Due to go on long journey as brother in hospital in a coma. Went to Evans Halshaw pre trip for new windscreen wiper. Fixed and set off. Fortunately rained after a short time as when put windscreen wiper on it flew off. Returned to Evans Halshaw who apologised for putting on wrong size wiper.

2. Took car in for work to be done which involved removing protective cover under car. Picked car up and next day heard scraping sound and cover had come off on front edge and scraping floor. Took back in and again apologies and they said they had screwed it back in position. Left and next day noticed everything I went over speed-up I could hear a scraping noise. Took it back in and again apologies and they fixed it. However they mentioned damage under car but did not specify what and if caused by cover.

3. Following a service was advised that passenger rear coil was damaged and needed replacing. Agreed and work done. Paid by card but after handing back to their staff they apologised as machine had turned off and they couldn't tell if payment had gone. Eventually agreed to put card through again. Next day online statement showed both payments had gone through. Went in and showed my online banking app but they would not accept this. I suggested they contact their accounts dept but they would not do this and asked me to go for paper bank statement despite it being a issue with their machine. My bank were amazed that on line app statement was not sufficient. They also said that evans halshaw could have checked with their accounts team as banking is 2 way process so they would have identified the issue.

I contacted their customer services re the issues. Their staff member constantly talked over me and just kept saying payment was being returned so case clear. He was not prepared to address why bank app was insufficient and on two earlier incidents kept saying but they sorted it out.
He failed to accept if you go to a main dealer and pay their prices you do not expect wrong part to be put on or cover not to be replaced correctly.
He then said he had cleared the issues and said would now be closing the call.


UPDATED REVIEW

Is is now 7 days since taking in bank statement to show Evans Halshaw had taken two payments. The money has not gone into my account as I update review.

However unbelievably Evans Halshaw have contacted to say they are still chasing up my refund but accounts can't find both payments and assume one is lost in the ether !

I assume as a 70 year old customer they think I will sit back and wait. Perhaps I'm naive but in their position having seen proof of two payments and fact they dealing with a person who has been a customer for over 10 years they would have refunded immediately and made a compensation payment. They could then wander off in the ether looking for the excess payment.

I have a friend employed by M&S so I asked was I being reasonable. She was amazed at my experience today and said M&S would already have repaid and made compensation payment.

Over last 7 days I have received three emails from Evans Halshaw asking for my experience on my latest visit and if I was satisfied !!

Excellent customer service

I was looking for a Bluetooth adaptor for my tv and was having difficulties finding one. I rang richersounds in Cardiff and they said they would check stockroom and phone me back if they had one. I was unable to give them a part number but a few minutes later they phoned back and confirmed they had one and was considerably cheaper than Amazon and other internet sites
