False description and poor service

I purchased what was described as an in-ear hearing 'aid'. When I received it and tried it, it transpired to be a hearing amplifier NOT a hearing aid. This meant it did not reduce background noise eg music and focus in on speech. Instead everything was amplified! I e mailed the company to request to return and receive a refund. Initial response was to give me instructions on the correct use. a couple more emails later I was advised that I was not entitled to refund only exchange. I actually had to contact consumer rights and trading standards who gave me an officially worded letter template. After sending this to them they agreed to refund me. Beware as amplifiers can actually damage your hearing further. Interesting the review I left on their website is not shown.

Disappointing

Disappointing. The scraper has no rubber or sponge tip just the bare metal which cannot be good for your teeth. This also makes it impossible to apply the powder with it. The powder is the same as the powder toothpaste we used when I was a child.

Hi! it is safe to use, it needs to not be covered to remove the plaque and tartar. The powder you do not use with the metal attachments, you use that with the brush head or with your own toothbrush :-)

Absolutely awful excuse for a social…

Absolutely awful excuse for a social media platform. No independent opinions are allowed without being deleted, hidden or censored. No-one is allowed an opinion! Have a business page with them but cannot access any help despite several contacts being made i get NO response.

Stressful to deal with!

If you want stress free booking and planning AVOID this company! I booked flights to Australia which included an initial flight to London Heathrow. I was only given 20kg baggage allowance even though a long haul flight. I went on the airline website 2 weeks ago to see if i could increase baggage allowance and discovered that my flight to London had been cancelled!!! No communication to inform me of this! I phoned and was told I had been put on a later flight which meant I would miss my connection to Kuala Lumpa so staff suggested I go on an earlier flight and said they would do this. It then took another two calls for this to be secured! Still no resolution on the baggage increase despite emailing and 2 phone calls. First call they said they would get the prices etc and email me - nothing. Second call they said they would call me back within 2 hours - nothing. Third call I was 8th in a queue so did not wait.
UPDATE - following the response from Travel Up - I have reduced to ONE star as it just gets worse! I called the number as asked and was told they could not do this because it was too long since i made the booking!! I then asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 15 minutes and it was clear they were not resuming my call. I contacted Malaysia Airlines (flight co) and they also said it was too late. Any increase in baggage has to be done at time of booking however when I made the booking i was NOT advised of the baggage limit nor was i given the option to increase it. Clearly all they care about is taking your booking and your money - after that youre on your own

No delivery received

No delivery received. So I have been asked to submit a review when I haven't even received my first box yet. Box was due to arrive yesterday but did not appear. I called them this morning and they were unable to locate it and said it was missing? Suffice to say I have cancelled my subscription and am awaiting a refund. Don't waste your time or money. Also no separate section for vegetarian meals you have to scroll through the meat ones to find them and limited options for vegan diets. Following the reply from hello fresh which i cannot reply to - I have already contacted you and have been advised that it has gone missing and that I have been given credit!! Credit is no use to me when I am not using your service again.

Totally pointless

Totally pointless. I hardly ever get offered a survey and when i do it asks for some basic details which they already have had several times then says the survey is not available. dont waste your time.
with regard to the response from i-say it is not possible for me to find out what the identification numbers for the surveys were. This response is totally useless.

Awful, avoid

Awful. I had not long made my monthly payment and once it had gone through it came up that i was in credit by almost two months payments! I then received an email telling me they were INCREASING my payments by £11 a month. I phoned them and was advised they would keep my payments the same. Meanwhile i had contacted them to request a refund but a week later have had no response. I am a pensioner on a low income and am £124 in CREDIT. i should not have to make any payment next month. unfortunately i am tied in to them until April but as soon as the contract ends i will be changing my supplier.

Appalling service

Appalling service. I broke down at a busy roundabout on the Edinburgh bypass. Thankfully it was on a downhill gradient so I was able to manoeuvre a wee bit onto the verge but most of my car was still in lane. I tried to call RAC but was kept on hold with a continuous voice message! So there i was, a 65 year old woman on her own at a busy roundabout in rush hour on hold for 25 minutes when a young man in a small breakdown truck actually stopped and came to help me. This man thankfully got me home. However had it not been for his kindness I could have been there for hours! Appalling service to leave people in such vulnerable position and not even answer the phone! Why have an 'emergency' number if there is no-one there to answer it? Suffice to say that I will NOT be using RAC ever again and i would advise anyone else to avoid them!

Do not purchase from this company

Do not purchase from this company. I bought item over a month ago and never received dispatch email so requested refund. Long story short, to date I have requested refund twice and they ignore my request and email me saying to be patient. Today they mailed me with a tracking number which was nothing to do with my item - dates were earlier and was from china to canada! Now the website appears to be down! I have had to escalate the issue with Paypal to get them to resolve this. Avoid at all costs

They only send a statement annually so a guarantor has no access to check payment status and balances. They haven't kept me informed of changes of agreement with the payee. I had cause to make a complaint and they did handle this and did their best to resolve it hence 3 stars

Poor communication

Poor communication. After paying for the holiday there was no correspondence from them. I had to phone them two weeks before departure because I had not received any tickets and was made to feel like I was overreacting! Poor service and only seemed interested when I was booking. The holiday itself was amazing and I would definitely do it again but not through Barrhead - next time I will book directly with the tour company newmarket holidays

A good deal but bad communication. I as given a new sim but was not to,d that it was being disconnected from my current phone. i had to call Vodafone after someone was trying to contact me! They expect you to just know!
