Review of Seasalt Cornwall
I feel your new return arrangements might stop me from ordering on-line.
I recently ordered something and have returned it. I regretted the first change from a piece of paper in with the goods and a preprinted Royal Mail label. I got used to printing a label off myself. But this time I was dismayed to find I had to download a QR code and take it to the local post shop. This felt too complicated. Also they charged me a £2.50 handling fee - I didn't mind that so much more the overcomplicated new procedure.

The assistant was very helpful. We arrived not quite understanding how vinyl flooring worked. She explained about glueing or clicking together options and helped us to find the sort of designs we were interested in. Then we were given a quote and a date to be visited.

The perishable products arrive chilled and fresh. Really good packaging.

I made a first order of hot smoked salmon and a simnel cake. It was delivered in a well refrigerated package. Both items were delicious. I had also ordered kippers but they were then unavailable. But these are difficult times.
So have now made a further order of sausages, a half-ham and some other lovely things.
Thank you Dukeshill for being there at this challenging time.

Such a good selection of seed varieties. Only place I could obtain blauwschokker peas. Also good to be able to order just 1kg of seed potatoes. Good website and prompt delivery.

All the plants I've had from Dobies have been excellent. Just one comment. Plants tend to come without planting instructions. So for example recently I needed to know what to do with bare root strawberry plants if I could not take them to my allotment for a few days.I usually phone up and get very good advice from Dobies. But an instruction sheet would be good - I get them from Sarah Raven and RHS, who are the other main places I order from.
