Brevo, the annoying traffic warden on a power trip
"Your campaign has been suspended" - I hope you like the sound of that because get used to hearing it.
Brevo has a simple to use interface and could be a top email marketing platform but their rules around campaign performance and compliance are just too strict; so strict that it becomes obstructive to performance and makes the platform feel more like an annoying traffic warden that stops you for every tiny thing. We send B2B campaigns and got 'pulled over' because of a small portion of hard bounces (which we regularly maintain). The Brevo team are extremely quick off the trigger and will suspend your account if you don't get enough opens, too many unsubscribes or performance just isn't up to what they define as acceptable.
If you question their 'decision', Brevo's customer service team will interrogate you (one asked me to give them physical proof that I our data were all opt-ins). Utter nonsense and do yourself a favour, find an alternative provider that doesn't behave like a maladaptive police officer on a power trip.
