Let down by the delivery team

Started off ok communication was good, delivery team arrived on time then the issues started brought the dryer in knocked it on the island & wall finally followed instructions & took it to the utility the way I said, proceeded to unpack & take pictures of the delivery ask me to sign & then they left quickly leaving the door open went to close the door came back to the dryer to realise they had damaged it went straight outside they were already off down the road.

Then got a phone call half an hour later from a lady at AIT to say the driver has been trying to get in contact with me as they couldn’t find the address once I explained they had delivered it damaged she was surprised, she proceeded to look at the pictures & saw the damage & apologised giving me the complaints email (I’m yet to receive a response)

Customer service centre staff good, just let down by the actual delivery staff

I await the response of AIT

Avoid at all costs

While ordering was easy, that’s where the problems began. The delivery team damaged the dryer on delivery, damaging our property and the product. They didn’t even tell us, even though it was obvious from the picture they took.

They left even when we shouted them back. Samsung has no interest in the issue and just ridiculed us when we called, saying, “Do you think you’re the only people with damaged goods today?” This sets the tone for the ongoing battle to get a replacement.

I still await any substantive response. The products are decent, but the company is abysmal.

Update - I have now had a response from Samsung they have offered me a £50 voucher as they don’t offer partial refunds & tried divest themselves of all responsibility for the damage caused to my property even though my contract is with them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Review of Snagman - New Build Snagging

Excellent Service & Support

I was looking for a snagging service for my new Redrow build and came across Snagman through social media recommendations.

From the start, Gareth and Adam were professional and responsive, even when I had to reschedule due to hold-ups.

During the inspection, they were on-site for over six hours on a Saturday and provided a comprehensive 63-page report back to us the same day. The report clearly outlined each defect, including pictures, and included relevant NHBC guidance.

This thorough report allowed us to understand the defects and determine the appropriate course of action from the builder.

I highly recommend Gareth and Adam for snagging services.

Home Preview at Poppy Fields

This week, we had our home preview with Rachel. The house was excellent, and it was great to see it getting so close to completion.

Rachel had visited the week before to do a walk-around and pick out any issues before the preview. This allowed us to point out a couple of things that we had noticed.

Overall, our first interaction with Redrow customer service has been excellent. James was great at booking the preview, and Rachel provided an excellent home preview. The site managers were also very knowledgeable.

We look forward to moving in!

Excellent experience at Poppy Fields

We began our house hunt in August 2024 and came across Poppy Fields in Rotherham. After spending several months and visiting other sites, we finally decided to go with a Henley from Redrow.

We cannot praise the sales team enough. Vanessa and Ella have been professional, patient, and knowledgeable about every house type, guiding us through the entire process.

What truly set Redrow apart was their consistent contact. They kept in contact about our progress in the sale of a property and our search, which was a rare occurrence. Additionally, their product knowledge played a crucial role in our decision to buy.

We want to express our gratitude to Vanessa and Ella for making this experience enjoyable. We eagerly anticipate moving in.

Communication lacking

Received the glasses just within the timeframe but the responses to emails & customer service are lacking still waiting to sort a quality issue out almost a week after delivery.
